Wenatchee & East Wenatchee are divided by the Columbia River in the middle of the state. To the west is woodlands and to the east is high desert. This picture is looking to the east and at ~600' asl.
Seattle is very nice in the summer and very wet the rest of the time. The east side of the...
It's often advised to drain the t-case, fill it with diesel, and go for a 10+ minute or so drive with it to clean the sprag & t-case of built up junk, and then drain & replace with gear oil.
You don't need the run flat insert, but I'm gonna say you do want the Hutchinson bead lock inserts. I've heard of some folks mounting tires w/o the bead locks but it's more difficult to seat the tire and there's a risk of a tire coming off the bead while driving which could cause a loss of...
It could be an optical delusion...lol...but I've never seen a soft line that can hold the memory of (2) 90 degree bends. Could be something new I'm not familiar with.
From that frame junction block down to the axle: if that's some type of flex hose, how does it hold that offset jog?
...and if that's a hard line, what happens when the axle articulates?
Thats sounds like a lot of material - thanks for the details. I've been circling the rabbit hole of communications & radio gear for awhile now, but I'm not sure i have the time to completely jump in. When I do, I'll look into these texts a lot more thoroughly.
I'm assuming that those who chose a communications MOS and went on to an advanced course after basic would have had a unique curriculum. Were they taught with the TMs and FMs that we all know or were there other internal texts that were not released?
I'm just wondering if there's a 2" thick...
I ordered TM 11-5820-498-12 which sheds a little more light on the AM-2060 mounting unit. Although the PRC-25 or -77 battery pack delivers 3 & 15 VDC, this unit outputs 3 & 13...
Painted the tensioner to match and reattached the data plate and MWO tag that used to be on the top c-channel plate before the level wind took its place.
Today I got the tensioner for the level wind installed which required removing the cable and got the winch wound up nice & tight for the first time. I finally found a tensioner with a broken handle and found a new replacement handle for it. Getting that handle in my possession is a whole other...
I don't know anything about the AM-2060 adapter or how it changes the voltage. Maybe a transformer of some sort? There is a large solid block that houses something fairly heavy in it. All I've found from my limited collection of radio TMs that mentions this setup is this:
Looks like it...
