What did you do to your deuce this week?

*glances at the six grade eight 3/4" mounting bolts holding the home-made hitch onto my deuce* 😅

What did you do to your deuce this week?

A proper fabrication job like that is the reason I didn't post any pics of my attempt at the exact same repair. I know that mine wont fall off, but I take solace in the fact that it's somewhat hidden under the cab/behind the J-pipe

What did you do to your deuce this week?

We cheated for Daisy's hitch install. Idk if you can find a place local to you that will rent/loan out a mag-drill, but having access to one via work was definitely a life saver for us if anyone is considering their own hitch install in the future.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Hell, a lot of blood sweat and tears went into just getting my truck running and back up to a respectable level of reliability. I cant imagine the work involved to make it look near as good as your example. Well done (y)

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I didn't turn the injection pump up, no. There was enough of a noticeable increase in power after the FDC delete I opted not to change anything for longevity sake. I usually use the M35 for local heavy hauling, but if I need to cover some longer distances with a load, I hook the pickup to the...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Thanks Dipstick (y) If you're not in a hurry, she'll oblige with most anything that fits in the trailer. It certainly helps that I live in a mostly flat state I'd wager. Ever since I did the FDC bypass a few years ago, she's been strong as an OX for the most part. That and the lack of stop signs...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I finally was able to procure the factory battery hold down for my truck. While I had the batteries out, I removed the passenger step so I could weld up/fix the rotted panel that is affixed just behind the J-pipe. After another greasing, we hauled 5 dump trailer loads of buried cement out of my...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Some of our adventures from the past month. Wanted to get them posted before I have to leave the desktop behind today 😅 Summary to follow

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yikes! I dont know who conned you into doing that, but I'd be cutting ties for the sake of my health if possible 😅

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Fortunately for me, I was off work on Tuesday and woke up to about 10 inches of snow everywhere. Made some coffee, unhooked the battery tender, did a quick fluid check, and spent the day driving Daisy around on the drifted over back roads with my fiancée riding shotgun. She was very happy with...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

That trailer is barely road-worthy. It spends most of its time being drug through the mud in the woods or creeping down back roads so the brakes are far from working. I keep up on the bearings and hydraulic system only at this point. Finally got sick of replacing broken taillight lenses, wiring...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Got a lead on some firewood from a friend (pictured in his selfie) who was clearing fence-rows with an excavator. I immediately loaded up the skid steer and ended up bringing 4 heavy dump trailer loads of logs home last weekend. For being basically stock, Daisy was definitely working...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Haven't really had the time to sit down and update, but as soon as I finished replacing the front brake lines in the middle of last month: I modified my tool rack to fit a mid-sized chainsaw. Basically just cut the brackets out of the center of it so I could fit an appropriately sized piece of...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Well after replacing quite a bit more brake line than originally planned and doing more inspecting, we're on the road again. Did a small 15 mile trust building back road run with the new differential locker in the front. Happy to report absolutely normal handling with the transfer disengaged...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I cant take credit for building it. Along with a ton of other useful things, it was in the barn when I bought the place. It was the perfect height. Got one set of U-Bolts started before I jacked the other half up and did the same. I spent a few years working in the grass/dirt before I went the...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Well Daisy is back on her feet again after a small delay. Not having brakes for now meant that I didnt do much more than a lap around the yard with the new locker. No difference in steering to report as of yet. Need to buy and run some new brake line for the front axle, do a fluid/bearing check...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

If I wasnt doing a multitude of home renovations at once, I would've loved paying for a locker on a switch. I'm apprehensive about how it'll drive honestly. There were enough folks that said it unlocked reliably when not under power so I wung it based on that. I'll certainly report on how...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

When I removed it and tore it down, I used a skid steer. I lifted the center section out and back in with a chainfall. Today I set the fully assembled axle on a 3 wheeled triangle dolly (using the old in-ground hoist) for reinstallation. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Well after a huge bathroom renovation, I'm finally able to work on the Deuce again. Front axle has been reassembled with the Detroit Locker. Hoping to get it hanging under the truck by the end of today pending on some replacement brake lines. Firewood season is too close for comfort without her...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Detroit locker is on it's way. Along with two new carrier halves...
