i'm 26 years old i was 24 when i got my m1009 age does't matter i got it for 4250 off egay.. and put almost $2000 into it and i got some more things to do
but other then that i put 10,000 miles on it already it's at 71,125 miles atm
trick is if it does't shift into 4wd and grinds gears just shift the truck into netual and turn off the truck shift it into 4wd and then drive...... stops my prob till i can get the funds to rebuild mine
just make sure they don't get 2 hot you can lose a hub like that
i lost a 30,000 pound trailer axle because the shop i had work done on em tightend the bearings to tight so one side of the axle fell off the axle with the hub, both duel tires, and the break drum stell attached
another reason why the military gave up on the 4 cylinder engines and went 2 cylinder's FTW!!!( for the win):)
ok getting back on topic i don't have this prob anymore i just made some adjustments to the carb and away we go... and a $1,000 engine rebuild helps and also hot plugs:)
