Thanks but heres the thing they used to cycle after i turned on the engine not befor they just heated up then after the wait light gos out I turn on the engine then they cycled 3 times max

my glow plugs are cycleing way to fast like 2 sec after i turn the key to run

thats because the U.S. Gov has put stricter emission standards for diesel fuel and engines... Hint (ULSD) Ultra-low-sulfur diesel to lower emissions
so it costs more for refineries to make it and we the people take a arrow in the knee because of it ( higher prices at the pump)
just get a new GM one rockauto.com has em for about $140 then get new window guide Felt ( you can pick this up at crafting store ) this is a must then your problem is over for years unless you are rough with it.

yes thats normal for it to cycle 3 times max after it starts, you will hear the engine sound...
don't go with china crap i got 2 off egay a few days ago and there both 90's bult pups made in the U.S.A and work great

if you happen to put on a new mechanical lift pump on ( it's not easy BTW) leave the hard line off from the mechanical lift pump to the injector pump then crank the engine with the injector pump pink wire off till you get fuel from the mechanical lift pump then connect the hard line from the...
