Hey Fred,
I have a 3/4" stencil maker. If you are coming down for the parade with Chris tomorrow,I can make you up some TP35, DIESEL, CHECK BATTERIES DAILY, etc. . . . .
Bump to the top. . .
C'mon guys, mang worked real hard to get this set up for us. I would bet that we have less than 5% of our members participating . . .
What are you waiting for ? Sign up, there's a free prize if you join! (I think?!?!?!)
Reviving a nearly 6 month old thread here, but it seemed like the right place to put this . . . .
I finally managed to edit a piece of video that I have been intending to share for some time now...
Oooops, my mistake. You are correct Dennis. For some reason, I was thinking liljohn was from Pennsylvania.
Gimp, I am scratching your name off of my will right now.
My annual family vacation is Sat. June 28th. till Sat. July 5th. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, no Haspin during that time. Anything else is good.
Ditto on what Gimpy said. Haspin was/is THE original Steel Soldiers get together. 2008 will be the fourth year. In the past, we've had members...
To elaborate on what Gimpy said - If it has the original PTO, it is a double ended unit (front and rear outputs). If the truck is to become dissected  please save that along with the data plates.
There exists a small "pigtail" adapter that is placed inline between the spark plug and spark plug wire that allows you to use an ordinary civilian style timing light (with inductive/clamp on style pickup). It is part of a test set kit, but I have one that I purchased individually. I got mine...

Mud,
I have a deuce and a 5-ton registered in KY. I don't recall anything out of the ordinary to register. I registered both as ordinary trucks. Make sure you have a vaild title and things should go smoothly. Just answer any questions briefly. Tell the truth, but don't offer lots of extra...
Yea, it is a work day, but Gimpy and I take long lunches all the time
. . . or after work, or as you say, "on the flip side"
I'll pm you my cell number. Should be pretty flexible. Just keep us posted on your ETA.
Dang Chris, you change MVs more than I change .. . uh, . . well you know.
Seriously, Congrats on another nice truck !!
What are your plans for the back of that thing - trailer, custom bed, crane????
Sorry for dragging us even further off topic . . . .
Well, its not a tractor, but I ran my M342A2 all the way to Aberdeen and back (1170 miles) without front or rear mudflaps and haven't been stopped. I hate the way mudflaps look - kinda' like having a skirt on your truck. :?

Wow. Hey Ed, I recall we have spoken several times via pm about you looking for a big brother for your 708. This one has lots of potential there. The long driver's side fuel tank is there, as well as the behind-the-cab toolbox. The window, windshield glass, and front fender...
I met a fellow in Columbus, OH last year that had one. I believe his was multifuel however, not gas. . . . wonder if he bought Eric's?
David, check pm.
