I'm not finding anything under 25070. I did find 25970 that is used in the CCKW. Would this be correct and 25070 a typo?

Do you know how to test the military wires to see if they are any good? I have two sets, but would need to get the military spark plugs. I don't want to buy those just to find out the wires are bad after I install everything.

Are you using the military distributor and military plugs, civilian distributor and civilian plugs or military distributor with civilian plugs? My truck tries to run like what you are describing. I have military distributor with civilian plugs. Maybe one of mine is cracked as well.

All the ones I have seen are painted, but the one currently in my truck has a slick, shiny surface underneath and the paint chips off. The paint on it does not come off as easily as yours. I am probably going to try self etching primer on mine to see if that helps before I repaint it.

I have had no luck finding a rebuild kit for the old air pressure switches, so I ordered the Bendix 228750 switch that topo told us about. It is a lot smaller than I thought it would be. As soon as the wind and snow stops blowing, I will install it.
