Im just tossing my 2cents out there. It took me 5 minutes to figure out the engine I had after I received mine.. Id say look harder and do some research..Plenty on here..
This is what a forum should be like 👍🏼👊🏼
Since I’m working my way around the HMMWV, cooling system purge and clean are close on the agenda.. I’ll probably pull stack so I can thoroughly rinse out the radiator. Also need to do some brake work up front anyway with some odds and ends.. This will...
I said re-manufactured...Id say its a pre GEP that got overhauled and put back in service.. GEPs were probably to new in service to be yanked, overhauled and put back in a vehicle in 2010... Just my thinking though... Are there any Navistar markings in your engine valley on top ??? Find em...
HAve at it... that’s what they are for.. and if you come up with any “ Mods”, please share.. we are all usually trying to improve or upgrade our rigs 🤘🏼

Out of his league??? Had HMMWV for 5 years and not sure how anything works... Wow.. Radiator fluid.....That would be COOLANT.. Must be an Oregon thing. Id say you best pay VERY CLOSE attention to everything that is in this post.. YOU will need it.. Test your sensors, make sure your...
I’m doing Satin currently on my m998 rebuild for the entire undercarriage.. Hoping this makes cleaning a bit easier... Contemplating a Satin exterior with Flat accents on some trim pieces...

Well... as I move around the HMMWV.. gotta do the bushings.. I hate a sloppy suspension.. and I tearing it all apart anyway to paint.. so why not.. stupid, stupid, stupid.. Pressing out was a little easier than taking A arms off rig..
And as for the stubborn ones... BFCOW
WINNING !!!!!
Im guessing so you can start a bolt to hang the unit on and not be in the same predicament as the first design, holding it up in the air for 3 minutes trying to get a bolt started.. While trying not to smash your face with a 80lb chunk of starter..
