The brake shoes have frozen to the brake drums. A couple we’ll placed sledge hammer blows on the shoes will release them. When the truck is in operation they are warm. Any snow or dampness present when parked will then freeze
PS: make sure the wheels are chocked and release the parking brake...
The 87 is probably an Air Force truck. Honestly if you’re going to bob it and run in the salt and winter I’d rather see the 70 get chewed up. All of the extra value in an Air Force truck will be lost in that mission. Just my opinion.
So first: let’s find a member in that area to stow it. No sense just walking away. Second if I’m not mistaken the bolt pattern on the hubs is standard Budd so should be able to get a couple tires in to get it moving EMPTY.
