I love the M146, wish there were more around here. Watch out with the big tires hitting your landing gear feet in the turns. You might want to keep them 6-8 inches off the ground rather than cranked all the way up.
I bought a M931A1 about 16 months ago that had been sitting for 3 years at Camp Shelby, and CSMDavis got it running and drove it to his yard where it sat for about 6 months. We tried to start it again last summer, and while trying to start for about 15-20 min, magic smoke began to be released...
I've got the M923 loaded with some Pecan and Beech firewood, and some Ash is yet to be loaded.
I pulled my camping M105 out of the yellowtop flowers (actually they're weeds that I need to bushhog tomorrow) to clean out and get ready to travel.
I'll probably show up sometime Thursday PM...
Welcome!..I suggest you skim through the Government Liquidation/DRMO/GSA subforum threads to learn that what you see with military surplus is not always what you get. There are some real good deals out there, but education will reduce the chance you will pay too much for what may be a pile of...

Edit - OOPS, the OP has been online, but still not responding to DH
That should work at low speeds on FLAT ground, but if there are any dips or mounds, the hitch up and down movement will be very accentuated, so go very slow. As the rear wheels rise above the front, the rear of the trailer will approach dragging on the ground. You may be OK, but have someone...
That must have been a trip with a lot of ups and downs . Any problems with the mountains or stupid drivers? Loved SWVA when I lived there! Welcome to the 5-ton club - what a way to jump in with both feet!
The GL and NG guys used WD40 to lubricate the plugs when I picked up trailers, probably because that's what they had, and I've done the same. I would think electrical contact grease might be the way to go, as it wouldn't evaporate. When that plug rubber gets old and hard, it doesn't flex very...
