+1 If only going by the GL description and photos, bid the scrap price, minus the fees and taxes and the cost to get it home, and the cost to haul it to the scrap yard after you see what you're dealing with. I admit it, I'm a bottom feeder, and proud of it. Sometimes I even get lucky.:grin...
Since I keep swaping trucks, I don't have permanent mounts. On the tractors, I strap the tow bar crossways on the flat plate immediately aft of the spare tire. On the M939 series cargo trucks, I strap the tow bar on top of the two tool boxes. I don't want to lift them any higher than I have...
The great thing about living on rural acres is you can do anything you want on your land. The bad thing about no HOA/county codes/etc., is that your neighbor can do anything he wants on his property - such as a low income subsidized housing development, feedlot, chicken houses, sawmill or hog...
Got a couple of M931(A0) parts trucks, and, depending on what my recent GL wins look like, I might have a M931A2 parts truck. Let me know if you need something, and Jeff or I will pull it. I also have a M923 with a bad engine that I might part out, haven't quite decided yet. Actually for that...
Since no one actually answered your question to choose one of the 5 choices, I'll be the first to vote for either the tank or the APC with the .50 cal on it.
Got a free bottle opener/cork screw for the first 30-40 who show up. If you lost yours at the BR or NOLA airport, I might have it.
3-phase diesel water heater, washing machine and diesel fired dryer from laundry trailer.
I've got a couple of 0-15KW load banks available to test your...

It's hard to find a running Deuce under $4K , and there are very few coming out of auctions anymore. Throwing in the spare motor makes the deal hard to turn down.
Welcome!
There are always a few things that can go wrong on a 40-year old truck, but if it cranks and moves, the most critical weak point is the brake system. After that, lights, tire condition, axle seals and rust. That said, they are fairly simple to repair or rebuild compared to a modern...
I'm glad it's not just me. That's the problem I've been having with a Dell desktop and an HP laptop, both using Explorer. Either no browse box, or if I do get a box and click on a pic, nothing happens. I just gave up on starting several threads since pics were critical to the subject.
Well...
Just click on my name to send a PM and we'll set up a nice DRY day to chase the horses out of the way and crank some up.

It'll only take about 10 min to tell you all I know as I'm still learning something new everyday. I'm about 45 min north of the BR airport.
Got the same call yesterday for my M1102 in Pineville LA. EUC cleared on Monday. They gave me the choice of getting my money back or waiting to see if the Gov't actually wanted them back. I think they are evaluating the status.
When you request the SF-97, you can enter the correct original build year. I have submitted requests with different years and VIN numbers to correct errors from the GL listing. Don't trust the sale listing to have the correct information - verify it on the vehicle with your own eyes.
It's amazing how broken pieces travel from one piston to the other. When I dropped a valve in an NHC250, metal parts from the #3 cylinder and piston destroyed the #4 cylinder.
