I don't think the difference in pressure is a one-for-one comparison, I believe it is more exponential IMHO. I could be wrong but with air it doesn't take that much pressure on the brake pedal to stop. No air and good freaking luck and as big as I am it is darn near impossible to stop.
While I like an M37 there isn't one anywhere worth that much and that includes the one sold at BJ.
Don't get me wrong, it is a good looking truck but it isn't really a restoration, it's a fully customized truck. The second one is a better example and while both plane and M37 "may" be worth...
If I didn't know better I'd say that was my Dad or my Brother in the ditch. It took two big John Deeres to pull out the township truck. They each rolled into a ditch at different times. By big I mean the ones with 8 full size tractor tires on them.
Tow? Yes. Stop it in an emergency? No.
Stopping that thing with a pickup reminds me of a Clint Eastwood movie, Every Which Way but Loose. That's pretty much what it will turn you in a panic stop.

I highly recommend the horse carriage tours in Charleston to get some history on the city. We have taken 4 (I think) and taken a different route every time as they manage how many horses/carriages go on each router per day and it's a crap shoot as to which route you get.
