I found these concerning Ametek/Dixcon tachs. I can't get mine to work right either. I have both the correct tach and the sending unit. I think maybe the wiring is picking up noise and messing up the signal.

Second picture from the left, what is that above the silver finned box? Is that the PDP and what is a PDP. If that is a power distribution box, where did you source that? Thank you.

Clean all electrical connections especially the ones to the batteries and starter, solenoid. Use wire brush, sand paper, steel wool, etc.

If you can get to the bottom of the glass, I think there are 4 bolts, 2 on each side that hold the glass in. Take those bolts off and then slide the glass out with the tailgate down. Good luck

I would just do one wheel at a time but if you need to get them all off without anything to put on, then just be careful jacking the truck up and using jack stands. Use the 6 ton ones if you got them. I'm north of 18 on the east side of town, kinda near granite hills H/S, Central rd.

Always use distilled water with antifreeze in the cooling system to prevent scale buildup. Spring water, regular water contains minerals.

I need to get going on some rust spots on my truck. I'll try sanding/grinding off the heavy stuff then use a liquid called Metal Prep to clean the rest then rinse and prime. I think the Metal prep stuff is just phosphoric acid. Your truck looks good!

The michelin tires I have are just michelin X not XZL. I was wondering about the difference in circumference of the different tires too especially when put on the rear axles. I would think the differential gears would compensate for that when the tires are different diameter on a given axle...

The Kent- Moore tool part number shown in one of the service manual pics is for a 53 series. A 92 series would have a bigger wrist pin and a different tool and number. it would be a good idea to check those retainers for leaks cuz oil can leak there if not sealed good and then you burn oil. I...
