You are correct. 2x12vdc lights in series.

Just checked... 12vdc lights. I have already touched them to 24vdc and they worked fine.

When I owned my deuce, the 6 digit number on the frame was my VIN. Yours should be the same. In Louisiana, our VIN is stenciled on in lieu of a plate. Disregard the "Q", as that was part of the old law.

I've always pulled the drive shaft... 🤷‍♂️ 4 bolts to remove the U joints (which probably need replacing anyway) and it's no longer a concern.
