    4th Semi-Annual Texas MV Rally

I remember the first time we were out there, something about the owner not minding if we knocked down some trees ? Any chance we could trade some trail widening for part of the weekend's cost ? I wouldn't mind spending 1/2 day cutting and hauling, if it would get us a couple more deuce friendly...

Recovery of new M35A2C from Tinker AFB in OK

Did you bleed both airpacks ? Nasty spooge (technical term ), from sitting, in the master or airpacks alternately blocking some of the little passages ? Brake shoes out of adjustment, so first pump pushes them out, 2nd actually hits the drums ? Finally having finished completely going...

Pagosa Springs Co to Houston Tx.

Ditto on the God-forsaken part ! Also a new definition of hot. Remember that the speed limit on even 2 lane state highways is 70, or in some places out west 75, and a lot of people are driving 5-10 over. Good news is that they should be able to see you up ahead about 40 miles out ! With the...

    SOW ? Floorcovering in M35a3

All (both...) of the A3's I've seen had pretty complete cab insulation sets, I believe all A3 came with them. One of the suppliers had some for sale for a while, but very $$$$. Of course the cabs leak just as bad as the A2's, so you really have to watch for water collecting under the...

    Trailer wiring help

I work a lot with mil spec connectors, the shells are all replaceable if you have the tools to release the pins (or plugs) from the insert. But (!), spend enough years in in the heat and sun, and just about any rubber insert will bond to a metal shell. So, typical rubber to corroded metal...

Lots of threads about mufflers, some with actual dB measurements. My muffler quieted the truck enough that I don't feel like I need hearing protection around town anymore. Still need protection at highway speed though ! Also a lot of threads about insulation for temperature and sound. I'm...

    M103A3 (M105) Brake Light Issue

For future searchers, don't forget the bulb bases and sockets ! The mil lights are a lot better sealed then civ tail lights, but a little corrosion in the socket connections causes the same symptoms (this is a classic British car problem).

Trailer Air Brakes for a Heavy Duty Pickup

Did you custom build the controller ? If it's commercial, part numbers please !
