I edited my first post above. Your fine, you got the right one. I put the part number in and Summit showed the one for a 1991 Chevrolet. I rechecked and realized that the same number came up as the correct part from other vendors. Sorry for the drama your good to go.

Flexplate Replacement Parts (+ tangential component replacements)

I'm thinking you have the wrong flex plate and bolt kit. Sorry my bad I punched in the wrong flex plate number. Summit shows FRA-142 FLEX PLATE fitting a 1991 Chevrolet. Amazon shows the correct one with the same number.

I agree and I don't know. I would think flat is better and then the flex would be even all the way around.

Squibbly's M1009 and other Questionable Projects

I still would not trust your garage floor being flat in the radius of your flex plate, my guess is your floor is not flat. M1008 transmission

Yeah your right, if there is a will there is a way. Nothing can stop someone from achieving something if the will power is there. M.V. owners will be the modern day mad max people left on earth. We will find a way to keep these vehicles going no matter how we have to cobble them together.
