Does anybody have a formula on what colors and quantity to mix rustoleum paint together to get the green our trucks are? I'm looking to just paint frame and axles for now.

I was just going to wire wheel each leaf, ospho, then paint with rustoleum. Completely different subject, but I was going to ask if somebody knew a color mixture to make the 383 carc green out of rustoleum paint. Or get it close wnough

Yes I'm taking them apart. Replacing spring center pin. You know dang on well that the center pin is rusted out too.

People might think I'm crazy. But I'm only removing spring to clean it up, paint, replace Bolts and lube everything up with antiseize for example. I'm already there. I might as well do it. My theory is to replace now, rather than being somewhere broke down with a part failure and not being able...

I will post this also in my other thread also. But I'm glad I removed my U Bolts to get to my upper torque rod nuts. Hidden inside where those drain holes was a U bolt that was severely rusted through to the point of failure. Something you cant see until removed.

Yea they don't look like fun picking them up. And for anybody reading this. MAKE SURE YOU SUPPORT TRUNION BEFORE REMOVING THOSE BOLTS.

I have U Bolts off. Torque rods are pulled. Does this bolt need to be removed also? I can't budge it.

I feel the same way Yolner. I've called two venders. Both sell only the bushings with the square holes.

What about if the new torque rod bushings have the 1 inch square hole in them? Anybody ever tried to tap those?

I was replacing the two upper rods. I didn't have a socket I was willing to grind and modify. I chose to remove the U Bolts on the idler bar that are in the way. I wanted to pass on a trick that worked for me in removing the lowers. I seen people use a log splitting wedge. I did same thing, but...

Well so far I think I got lucky. I have the outer U bolt nuts broke loose. Working on inside ones now. Ok got all 4 nuts off ubolt. Now have to get u bolt out. I wanted to post a pic from iPhone, but not sure how.

I cleaned up the externals of the master cylinder and air pack yesterday with brake cleaner. Removed the air pack skid plate. Scraped the mud off. Added brake fluid and bled the air pack. I will work on bleeding each axle next. I will keep an eye on the master cylinder area since it's clean. Its...
