I have been thinking of getting a Bobbed Deuce but found a British Bedford MJ and it might work for me. Its about the same size as a Bobbed Deuce and has a 6 cly diesel motor and should work for me. I know parts will be a little harder to get but not impossible and I have to import all my M35 A2...
Thanks guys I orderd from Rex I have got some parts from him before with great results. I do have the TM 802 and a couple of other sources for the pictures. Anyone have a steering wheel? Eddy
Hi does anyone have a source for any DUKW data plates? My Dukw has none at all. Everything has been removed from the dash. I am looking for any plates at all. Thanks Eddy
My 42 Deuce ( CCKW ) came with a crank handle behind the seat I have never used it but it is there. I think a gas motor would be a little easyer to start than my M35 with a crank. I have cranked an old car once and it started but you have to be real careful. Eddy
Eddy here in Regina Sask. I own several MVs and have them all registerd here in Sask. with Vetran plates. I sold the Iltis

I no longer have one but used to have a 4 X 4 Pinz and it was great. Air cooled and small and light. Good unit. I in Regina and get to Minot once in a while if I can answer any of your questions. Eddy
If anyone needs anything from the west to the east the guy hauling my Dukw is going back tommorow. Give him a call his name is Dean and his # is 19099962710
Ok I have heard from the transport and my Dukw will be here in about two weeks if I am lucky it will come on my BD the 05th of Dec. Does anyone have any tips or hints about things to watch and look for on this unit. I am not a MV rookie but I am a total novice on this unit. It is not only an old...
Karl I sent you a email. I would be more than happy to find some others who share the intrest in MVs and who could help me and who I could help. I do not think I own the MVs I think I just hold them until the next guy carries the torch. We need to keep the memorys alive. Eddy
I will keep SS apraised of the progess on this one. I sent the NDMVA a email a long time ago asking if they wanted a member from the great white north and never got an answer. I go to Minot a lot and have even talked to a couple of the guys there at Motor Magic but again no intrest in me. I have...
Dukw
There were two of them I bought the one that was not in the fire over a month ago but was deployed out of the country for a while and now am back. Eddy
Tryed Gypshim never even got a responce and have heard nothing from anyone else. I asked several places for a price and never got any answers at all. I did not ask anyone to meet a price just asked for a price and nothing. Eddy
Saw this one in Xian and I had seen one like it before in Shanghia but did not get a pic of that one. It is quite a bit bigger than a jeep but much smaller than a Humvee. It has normal axel setups but with a lot of wheel travel. Diesel power. Eddy
If you just want the lights to work put the 24 vt bulbs in and it will work very well. It will still work with towing it with a normal 12 vt civy unit but the lights will be a little dim. However if you have elcetric trailer brakes things get much more complicated. There are some good threads on...
