    yeah its an oddball trailer. I think it has a higher gvw than a m101a2 but has a smaller frame width. I only paid $555 for it so I'm not to bummed. its in good condition.

    won a trailer on ebay and the body says m101a2 but has a m116a1e1 chassis with 3000 gvw payload. It has surge brakes, 8 lug A2 axle, Fixed shackle in the front with a drop down shackle in the rear. And landing leg. I noticed mistaken1 has the same thing. Any info on these guys????

    Is that even safe? I would not trailer it unless you had a drw truck. Pay someone or get it running and buy new tires then make the trip.

    I run them. And have put 10k miles on them and they have been fine. Even towed 10k with them. There not the best but work for me. I paid 260 for mine off pirate.

    1 vote for cutting up your dodge and use the drivetrain. Or 4l80e. So stealth, easy to find/ rebuild. Only have to find a computer. Which is reasonable. There is a guy in mass that does this and says the truck is great. Low gears and good top speed and the tranny is not hunting.

    If it is a converted 350 then that means they have never seen a SBC.... They look nothing alike and share no same parts even bolts.
