    mirrors

I have the type of mirrors you are talking about. I don't have any pictures (I know, I know). I took mine off and put the bigger mirrors on. The problem is, I did the military conversion, which means I whacked off the arm coming from the windsheild mount. If you had a replacement arm, I...

I have been priveliged to spend time at their place, listening to stories on multiple subjects. I haven't...

    Does diesel go bad?

I bought an old Chevrolet with a 6.2 liter diesel in it. It had been sitting at least two years, according to the inspection sticker. Repaired the engine, started it right up and drove it. Burned probably 10 gallons of old fuel, no problems. I say, watch out for water and trash, and burn it. Scott

First EUC, the wait is killing me

I e-mailed my EUC, but the website said "waiting for submission of EUC", or something like that. I called 4 days later (a lot of us are impatient) and a very nice young lady told me very politely that it may take several days to get posted. Amazingly, I got an e-mail about 30 minutes later...

    Norman OK recovery

I went to get my first MV from Norman last week, was nervous about the drive back to Liberty Hill so I brought a trailer along and it turned out to be a good idea. I have a small fuel leak at the cold starting kit, and a small coolant drip at the oil cooler. It also turns out that half the tires...

M35 useless fact for the day

OK, Barrman, I sort of owe you an apology. Took my tire to a local truck tire guy, expecting him to put it on a machine to break the bead. He said that due to the design, he couldn't use the machine. He put it on the floor and broke out a..................duck billed hammer. The difference...
