I had bad rust areas over the entire floor so I went into it figuring on an entire cutout. I just got finished removing all of the floor. A air hammer worked really good on the stitch welds. Will clean it up with a grinder tomorrow and treat the crossmembers. Gonna be sore tomorrow. Sent from...

I am inthe middle of a resto also. Does anyone know if the sheet metal flooring is welded all the way around on the outside? I have all the wood up and cut each bolt from above and knocked them out. The sheetmetal is the next challenge. I am thinking I will have to grind all the way around. Btw...

Good Morning, Home for a while so it is time for HH O rings. I took the cover off the other day and found fuel so that is what led me to do them. I just pulled the cover off a few minutes ago and there is oil in there. What would cause that? The truck runs ok but definitely not like it...

I have about a gallon of DOT 5 and as you all know...the stuff isn't cheap. What I have is old and wonder if it is still good. The pic shows some risidual of what is left in my power bleeder. Is it ok...maybe run through a strainer? Or do I need to ditch it?? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Thank all of you for the replies. Used the 3" PVC to drive the seals on and it worked like a dream. Another job on a deuce I am not hesitant to do anymore. The second axle will be a piece of cake....maybe.
