Congratulations on the new truck and welcome to the site.
The brakes are a common issue on that truck. There is plenty of information on fixing them, but depending on where it stands, a full rebuild of the system wouldn't be a bad idea. That way you will know it's good to go.
Makes sense. I wasn't sure if the hitch mounted I'm the bed of the 2.5 ton M1078 would be higher that mounted on top of the frame rails of the 5 ton M1088. My thought was that losing the bed thickness might shave some height.
I believe that brakes and lights would be best done with a 12v/24v converter and use the electric trailer brakes.
As far as the hitch issue, would the tractor version of the lmtv be an option? Or the same hitch height issue? If low enough, then would tires clear the trailer in a turn?
Thank you, but sadly its just a defective memory. It saves all sorts of random information, but never what I really need. (Like what it was that I was going into the store for in the first place. Haha.) Ironically, i don't even own that series of truck.
If that doesn't do the trick, just go...
I've heard of pretty common issues with the PCB. And it sounds about right from your description. Try tapping it with a hammer, seems to free up the solenoids.

As I understand it, they have the sent to leave markers to make a trail that they can follow back to a food source.
I had had that thought, as well. Someone trying to slip one past, but, (I have no idea who post the auctions, sets prices, etc) I wouldn't think it would be easy get away with something like that.
Condensation can form inside an engine due to fluctuations in temperature, relative humidity, etc.. Especially if it sits a lot. When the engine warms up it will "burn off" the condensation. Basically it just boils off the moisture, which comes out as water vapor.
Engines also create a oil...
I'm not super familiar with the m1009, but the civilian version of the K5's in that vintage had a slip-yoke transfer case. If you pull the driveshaft, be prepared to have the fluid come out.
They do make a tailgate plug to take its place, but I believe it's more for in the shop vs down the...
