I have a 5 ton if you need help moving it.... My tow bar is in the 5 ton... of course, 70 mile round trip @ 5mpg + toll is not optimal but it's an option of last resort if you need help. The tow bar itself isn't an issue, I can run that up in my CUCV... Are you recovering it from JBLM tomorrow?

So, noticed on the highway, steady throttle application, that it will surge a bit at certain spots.. Thought it was air in the line... Now, I notice a distinct lack of power.... and... now... going up a small hill, I can maintain power at low RPM, but as pedal goes farther to the floor, I lose...

You're taking this WAY too seriously.. :D remove the headlights/tail lights rub grease on anything you don't want painted. Paint. remove grease. :D

Removal, but I'll give you a cookie anyway.. :D Cylinder siezed..popped out steering wheel lock pawl.. removed ignition bar.... Dropped the steering column..removes ignition switch... Will be rewiring with a racecar style switch and pushbutton start.....i think..lol Its running now..using...

Wow. Didn't expect it to be that heavy. I plan on removing the slide out portions of my M934 (floor and ceiling, basically) and permanently keeping it closed... I was expecting some weight savings but... that's substantial.... I might be able to drop 2klbs+ if the entire assembly is near 5 tons...

Channel locks won't press down hard enough to get a good crimp, and if you ARE getting a good crimp with channel locks, then you're using a low quality connector or you're a body builder, heh. Ratcheting crimpers aren't that expensive, only about $30... and if you want to use a tool that you...

Glow plugs draw a current at a certain voltage....depending on glow time. Let's use AC60G since they're popular.... Each draws roughly 9A, so 9 * 8 = 72, so you're looking at about 72A (The 200A I quoted is for the welleman quick start plugs, which can draw ~20A a piece, still a hair less...

As far as wire goes..... Hit up your local welding supply shop.... Welding wire is high strand count and very flexible, and not super expensive...
