Working On The M561 Gama Goat

Any stout trees around? Could ya chain off to a branch that way? I lifted a deuce engine out of a pickup that way. Did a test lift first, not noises or excessive droop, went ahead and lifted the engine. Necessity is always the mother of invention. I can't remember if there are "big" trees...

    How to measure BIG Voltage

To me, experimenting with "high voltage" is a lot like playing Russian roulette with a semi-automatic pistol. One, just ONE mistake, and you become a new form of potato chip or beef jerky. I would prefer to let the professionals handle it. I don't believe experimenting with "high voltage"...

    My M715

That's a wicked looking truck, but don't know if I'd call it a M715 any more. More like a personal creation. Curious as to the giant hook at the rear? Purpose? Thanks for sharing

    I Need a Voltmeter Gauge for a CUCV M1009 1985

Alrighty then, installed the new gauge today between service calls. I "Love" being on "Call",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,not! Oh well. Install went well. Gauge is a 24v gauge off of popular auction site. It even has a light! Which I never had before, so that's a plus. Reads just fine, and that'll ease...

    DUKW Crash Fatalities

Don't like the idea of safety second and $ first. Agreed, if they are making that amount, should be easily within their means to rent a private launch from local marina. As we all know, large vehicles, trailers, boats, and PEOPLE, don't mix very well, even if you just add water. I am all...
