That'd light a camp fire, that's for sure! Or cook your hot dog, roast a marsh mellow, or set your truck on fire, whatever you so desired! Thanks for sharing> Purdy amazing
Prayers offered for all that were injured or killed in this horrendous accident!! Especially the remaining families. May they find strength, courage, and peace in the Lords arms!
News/media ??? Wasn't there a song by Don Henley??? "Dirty Laundry"?? nuff said.
A 74 year old lady with anew exhaust system?!!?!??! OMGosh PB! That's "open" for a wide translation.
I think the K had enough time "free and on her own" considering what she looked like when ya found her......she needs some attention at this stage of her life.....second childhood so to...
I was using this thread and post for info on the gauge. I figure mine had been changed out in a prior life time, hence when I tried to do the resistor repair, it didn't work for me. I do believe mine is 24volt. That's what I get at the wiring harness going to the gauge. New gauge should...
Make sure you close that air path up with the included foam..... I did NOT when I changed mine.....got only tepid warm air, nothing hot...............needless to say I did it again, this time with the foam. As ya probably already noticed the AL heater core is thinner than the brass.... ENJOY...
Ordered new voltage gauge for M1009. Old one would peg out after start up. It runs approx. 29 volts after warm up. Tried to fix old gauge, but found it it wasn't the resistor, I believe it is a 12 volt gauge. Will post pic of new gauge when installed.
Ok, finally had a spare minute after work and before more work. Pulled screws back out of dash panel and inserted digital multimeter into wiring clip. Fired up truck. Had approx 24.3 volt with engine running and glow plugs cycling...in between cycles would jump to approx 28.9v...after GPs...
Congrats on the win!! I haven't had any dealing with GP yet, but................there's a member on here that is part of their team... might drop him a note? Sounds like you are gettin the same advice from the guyz who have been there and done that. Hope all goes well with your recovery!!
Suggest TM'S as reference. Start from battery and follow the 24volt? Weird from one day to next, but in my experience electrical doesn't give a lot of "warning". By slave off, I meant have you tried using a slave cable from one MV to another. (Imagine really large jumper cables) Slave port...
Got voltage from batteries? At switch? Tried slaving it off? I'm not an electrical guru either, but they ARE here on the site, maybe they'll chime in too.
That's just darn right awesome!! Congrats EVERYONE involved.....Hey Commander, wearing a uniform doesn't make one a Patriot.....but you already knew that......Patriotism comes from the heart.....So glad it went great......my hat's off to ya all!
Good luck!! Sure all will be ok and others along your route will chime in!! Recovery are always fun and exciting. It's part of the "unknown" that gets your blood goin! Fluids, laptop, good cell phone and charger, and a good credit card are always an excellent addition to a recovery kit...
Hey there folks,
I have a question for ya. When I removed my gauge from the M1009, I noticed that I didn't have the "ceramic" resistor on the back. I only had two wires attached to the gauge. I looked at the pic that was posted here earlier and wrapped my new resistor around the appropriate...
Pics?? Ya got some PICS?!?!?!? Plans for when she's yours? First thing your gonna do with her? Got any pics of what caused the necessary washing? Thought it was already suppose to be spotlessly clean when she left and got onto the boat?!?!?
