The air restriction gauge is a calibrated instrument and tells you what kind of vacuum you have in the filter canister. Full deflection (=all red) is about 20 inches of water. With a fresh filter, there shouldn't be more than a few, 5 or 6 IIRC depending on engine load and the gauge should not...
According to the mep003a TM, the strainer is very similar to the deuce primary filter. The micron rating is about 40 and serves to catch the big stuff plus traps water. The original element is reusable and can be inspected for an early warning of the kind of stuff you may have in your tank.

The easiest way to wire the turn signal flasher box output to the buzzer is simply with a diode (see image).
The "black box" was more involved and used the buzzer for other warning signals also...too complex, never really sold any...however, I now use a stripped down version for pulsing the low...
Well, installed my original single switch control box and experimented a bit. There is actually plenty of air flow when all except one "register" is closed off.
Wiring shown below...
On a long trip you'll find that the gauges are your best friends and you can't have to many of them. I'm constantly glancing at all of them, and particularly the EGT, which is indeed mounted in front on the steering column.
The turn signal switch is wired to the "low air" buzzer, so that I won't...
Yeah, something like that might work, The two defroster ducts can be closed off (there is a baffle) and a new opening made in the fiberglass main duct.
The air delivery is about 130 CFM so with only one duct for the driver, at least, there may be enough.
Bob, the air comes from the outside. Note the two mushroom covers, the one on the left is for the heater.
The problem, besides the obstructed view was the amount of air flowing. Now when this project is "activated" again, I may continue to experiment...
Thought I could make use of the fuel burning heater when it got hot outside also, as a fan, but the idea has stalled out.
This goes back a year or so and when I noticed the thread about the nifty fans earlier today, figured that it may be appropriate to mention.
The idea was to use the blower...
Good idea. You have to turn the rivet gun/tool when removing it from the seated rivnut, right?
I have an old B F Goodrich installation tool for rivnuts, that I use from time to time. If all else fails nutplates work well also for similar applications and can be installed with pop rivets.
Appreciate those words Dave...
Adrian's m37, which he has worked on and driven since about age 12, is a work truck and much more for function than looks.
He is good with the welder and can fix rust damage by welding the sheet metal and finishing it. He is good with the paint gun also, just put...
Tried to figure the conversion efficiency of the Rediline and it probably isn't that much to brag about.
According to your numbers, it would be about 37%.
Rediline uses CCA of a battery to figure run-time (see image below) and there is no relationship between CCA and the AH rating of a battery...
Nothing, the electronics is protected by a gasket. Fording is not supposed to take place for a long period, it's over in a matter of minutes, so if the alternator doesn't produce during that time, no harm is done.
The older, generator regulator system was water proof and for vehicles designed...
Quick look at the Rediline generators...excellent surge capability and will "draw down" the batteries further than my inverter..
How noisy are they?
Efficiency?
Convoy when possible.
Have a chase vehicle driving behind to keep a good open space.
Pick the time of day, don't drive at "rush hour".
Drive during day time hours when possible.
Don't drive in "bad" weather.
I consider my bikini top a safety factor since I have 360 degrees of unobstructed...
