I believe ARB or Safari sells the cyclonic assembly as an additional option. I've never really seen one on a truck outside of an Australian photo. Probably a massive requirement tearing down dry dirt roads all the time.
Not many people actually produce factual scan tool data to see if a 'cold'...
What is the reason for the pressure gauge? Are you having hard start or low power symptoms?
I would imagine you would get some pulsations with a mechanical lift pump. As far as your pressure, I would consult the TM for a spec.
Shouldn't ground pounders be tethered to prevent loss??? :)
I personally despise 90% of Land Rover (LR, RRC, and Defender), Land Cruiser, and Mercedes (encapsulates G-Wagen and Unimog) owners because each party thinks that they own the greatest thing in the world and I've personally worked on...
What if you practice Buddhism? :)
Seriously, with the luck that I have I believe I truly killed someone in my previous life...
Not sure about the red dye. Maybe mix in some clean motor oil to dilute the color down?
The whole on road diesel tax is quite elusive. I really think it is all fear...
Just claim that you and your property are a sovereign nation. You could name in Cuck Vee Land or something along those lines. As the man in charge, you can even make up your own license plates! The good thing is that you don't have to pay that diesel tax anymore :)
It's all BS. Government can't...
I run that setup and I consider the stock push/pull steering marginal at best even for street usage. Probably some of the best money you will spend on your truck.
I would be game for this! I've been trying to get a small rally together for NC guys. There has been some interest from Jacksonville out to Raleigh. This may be a good place to check out. One member mentioned a military truck collection near Morehead City which may not be too far away from this...
Sounds like you have lots of fun toys. I would be open to stopping by if you are around. I plan on going up to Portsmouth Island in late April with an Expedition Portal planned run. I think you are right along the way.
Sometimes I like to use ether to start my diesel...other times I just like to huff it.
Absolutely no issue using ether to start a diesel if you know what you are doing. If you don't...be sure to read all of the applicable placards. You sound like the kind of guy that wears a seat belt because...
You are suggesting the governemt does something logistical???
That sticker goes along side the other one that says to not start with fluid. You can if you know what you are doing. In similar nature, sticking a heated pressure washer hose directly into the alternator and blasting will probably...
The front bearing is sealed, the back one is just an exposed roller...probably not a good idea to stick the hose in there. Wait, that sounds wrong...
I think either way you really can't hurt much on a Cuck. There really are not a whole lot of electronics in the engine bay. Not sure about that...
How bad is it?
I typically use a degreaser like Purple Power or Simple Green in a spray bottle. I warm the engine up and get the engine bay hot, spray it on, let it soak for a bit, hose it off really good, start engine back up to dry things off. I typically run a blow gun over everything before...
Wiring any accessories on the 24v side tends to balance out the loads on the CUCV since you are utilizing both batts and gens instead of just one set. Plus you can get away with smaller wiring on the 24v side (if we are talking same wattage for comparison). As far as the HID being twice as...
