Hahaha! Hookers and blow is cheaper than Hmmwv upgrades. I really enjoy this forum and so many issues get solved here. Probably 13 members do most of the solving and I really appreciate them.
I got brand new Hawkers for 947 shipped. I found cheaper ways from members here after the fact. I here about the wrong or weak batteries causing issues and I didn’t want to experience it. I have a new truck coming and I will order 2 more. Seems like any new 6tl batteries will be fine. Everyone...
I was told by Santa Clause that brass core was better than aluminum core. I don’t know if it’s true because he’s fixing brass core radiators. I need to go my 150 pound Mastiff farted in my face for the 3rd time. I need to stop feeding him chili. Eyes are watering good luck
Any good radiator shop can repair almost anything. I watched my radiator being repaired and it was pretty amazing watching them separate the tanks and removing the end plates. Guy looked like Santa Clause. Hahaha I told him you look like Santa Clause and he said I play him every year with my...
I thought that brass elbow just spun. You take the lid off and it makes a little more sense. You can see it better and and filled it 3/8” below the top.I was going to change the filter and flush it but fluid was clean so I will wait.
On top of the holder I put a washer then a short piece of hose another washer then a nut. I didn’t want to stick anything under the hold down bracket because it seemed to want to tweak it. Action found some really nice battery tray inserts that makes everything work out. Maybe Action will chime...
You need 2- long J-Bolts and 2-Short. 4-washers and 4-nuts. It will not work with your batteries and I cut fuel line to slip over the bolts so I could secure the batteries down until I could replace them. I believe I got my hardware from Mac Motors and I got a new battery tray from AM General...
After having my m1123 I realized I wanted ac, hard top. I have a really nice m1165 that doesn’t run coming and auction price was 14,100 and if I can get it back to A condition for 5,900 I will consider it a win. That’s not even Polaris RZR money
Truck looks like new. I can’t believe it sheared woodruff key and had other stuff clogged up. Mine has been perfect and it set for 20 years. I’m glad you got it going.
Drop. Clean up the inside and replace the gasket so you can fill it without leaking out of the top. I need to do the same thing now. I replaced the sending unit and I could see it was clean inside through the hole but you can’t really do anything but remove the sending unit thru that access hole
Mine wouldn’t shift into overdrive and was sluggish and I thought I was having transmission issues and then I realized that I left the emergency brake on when I left the store. Stupid lol
Amazing, how long did it take you? I understand nothing is ever done. I seen what you started with and what you built. TM’s make everything easier. You did yours when parts were more available and probably a lot cheaper than now. I don’t know anyone that started with a blown up truck and rebuilt...
