I was able to get the big outer nut off and once it was loose I didn’t have anything to hold on to and it was turning the engine over and it made me wonder if it was reverse threads. Definitely needs an impact and I’m dreading taking that beast off.

I believe that’s why they don’t recommend silicone for fuel lines. They shore do look purdy though. They will never weep enough to make a difference in coolant levels if you do routine maintenance. Clamps have metal all the way around so the slots don’t contact the silicone if I remember correctly

I got this outer nut off but now I have that threaded stud/bolt still in there and it doesn’t look like the pulley will slide over it. I didn’t see anything like this in the TM?

So this small nut inside the larger one removes the pulley itself. I haven’t seen a diagram that shows what I have and that’s why I was reluctant to remove it. So I get the pulley off and I can spin the shaft and if it still makes noise it’s the shaft. If not it’s the pulley? That’s how I am...
