I think that’s too
google how to pickle a boat engine. You probably should have done some research on how to save it once you realized it was full of water. Good luck and I hope it works out
I had a really hard time finding 15/40 t4 rotella. Prices have went up on it also. Finally found 2.5 gallons at Walmart for 33.00. They had 2 but the other was leaking. Maybe a good time to start looking before you need it. I have a new truck coming and I’m starting to get oils, fluids and...
I dropped a 1/4 ratchet, extension and socket down in that pocket and I was thinking I will have to remove it to get it out. I fished it out with a magnet 1st try. Sorry not much help but it reminded me of it
I wanted both of mine to be the same year so I only have to insure and register just one vehicle and I can just swap the plates back and forth. Hahaha I’m kidding but it did cross my mind.
I have heard that some insurance companies will not insure it if it’s not 20 years old or older. Hagerty more specifically. I would go with 1999
I think that’s close enough to best guess with error on the side of being a year older. I just went through the same thing and I went with 2002 based...
Filter will hold 12 ounces without spilling. Lol I put oil in the filter the night before I changed it and I used a measuring cup because it was in a gallon jug. I always add oil to my filters
If it’s up to the dipstick it would have to be everywhere you don’t want it. I don’t think it’s possible under any circumstance other than trying to fill it up with water to get that high. Head gaskets cracked block nothing natural gets it to that level
You don’t need any of that to run it. Mine had the hose stuck in the hose and I ran it a week while waiting for the parts. I don’t think I could stand the wait. I would fire anyone that took a cutting wheel or a hammer to any part of the de Militarization process
I will say that I know very...
I would run it if it was mine. You can always rebuild it. It has been sitting forever and getting it running might just fix it. Mine runs perfect since I have been driving it. I add that kleen every time I get fuel and I just finished the bottle. I thought I had a real issue but just driving it...
I don’t see how that’s even possible unless you were trying to fill it with water. I would probably drain it fill it up to the dipstick with diesel (that’s what they do to boats) drain it and fill it with oil. Change it again after 30 minutes runtime.
Mine had 132 miles on it and when I changed the oil it was greenish and clean and I figured it was some sort of break-in oil. I never seen clean diesel oil. Nothing I changed fluid or filter wise needed to be changed because it all looked clean and fresh but it was 20 years old. Check the fuel...
I would probably drain the oil and remove glow plugs and turn it over by hand. I wouldn’t want to turn it over with water in the cylinders and no path to get out. Fill it with oil and start from there. I probably wouldn’t change the filter because I would change oil and filter after it runs for...
I will order another one for my m1165 I just got. It’s not that much and it looks like it belongs there. I’m sure your skills are way better than mine. I can’t believe it’s went up that much. Electrical wiring is my Kryptonite. I like it because it taps into the tail lights and it comes with...
I installed a blackdog customs switch and harness. It fit perfectly and the harness is good quality with the proper ends. It was like 69.00
I removed and cleaned and lubed my shifter and I couldn’t believe the amount of sand that was in it. It shifted so smoothly after. I didn’t want to piece...
