Head lamps look like those off of a unimog.
What about working in an M-series instrument cluster, along with a box seat and a huge steering wheel. You could hang M-series lights off of the back too.
Then add long stretched out box fenders.
:driver:Heads up and sorry for the short notice,:driver:
The Company I hired from uship has drug out my auction pickup from OKC for more than 2 weeks.
So I am heading that way.
I will have an empty car hauler (10K) trailer and pick up truck (long bed) going from Kennewick, WA down 84 to SLC...

Very Nice.
I really like that paint job.
I was planning to do something similiar but as a winter camo.
What was your process?
Did you do a bunch of masking off, or air brush with a stencil?
I f you get a chance post a picture of the side with the light hitting it.
The shadow side...

If your talking about riding this short bus, yes I do,
Or I will do you one better and say 'I drive the short bus'
But here is the one I was looking for.
Do you mean Ivan the Terrabus.
She has been a favorite of mine at Mc Murdo Station.
I was doing the short bus on a deuce frame last year.
Didn't have a forklift big enough to lift the bus off of one frame onto another.
So now the bus sits detached from it frame.
Just a form a flat clamp...
Who knows Highway 12 between yakima and napavine, as it relates to a 5 ton (813a1) pulling a 105A2 trailer? 4.5 hours by google maps from the East Side.
Wouldn't be so bad if they didn't make the load out period such a tight time line.
Maybe they need to auction off load out priority as well.
Or sync it with # of lots or distance away.
Guess there is no fair answer.
Anyone have alternate contact info for the GL OKC warehouse?
All that is listed is the phone# 1-405-745-2614.
My freight company is having a tough time getting in contact.
Anyone have an alternate phone# or maybe an email address?
Thanx.
I will have to put that on my list for the next D.C. trip.
Another one to see, if your a restoration/wrencher is across the Anacostia river. The Paul E. Garber Preservation, Restoration, and Storage Facility, which is located in Silver Hill, Maryland.

Check the SS classifieds.
deuce rediator for sale - Steel Soldiers::Military Vehicles Supersite
Ask him to fill it with helium before shipping to make it lighter.
Chris,
I have the 1st one listed ( 24 Volt Cab Heater 12,500 BTU SM-5000xx) in my deuce.
Once I got all the air leaks sealed, especially the canvas top to the back wall, the 12,500 BTU does just fine for me. Boyce Equipment in UT sold me mine.

Great How-To.
A couple of additions.
If the canvas is thin, use the material from a pup tent, they are cheap.
To cut the foam use an electric carving knife, a large tooth hand saw, or a firewood bow saw.
A wire saw works good too.
And if you want to get rid of the seam where the two pieces of...
Sounds good.
But, don't the rock crawler guys want the ratio to go the other way, toward 7.17, like my school bus?
4.?? would be for the speed freaks, even if they were a bit pricey.
The bus has a Rockwell axle.
I was always looking for a 4.56 set for the bus so I could get over 60mph.
I rode...
