Might have been Canada that got his rear in the picture, but the Kids were giving my truck the double thumbs up, that's all that really matters.......8)
OK maybe it was REO 54, but when I tell the story it gonna be me......
I have picked up the N.O. switches for regular cars with spade connections not the mil. rubber boot type from the std. auto parts places. I don't have any part #s but they use the as fuel cut off switches for aftermarket fuel pumps. Same pipe thread.
It is what I used to get my brake lights...
Here it is

Search the site for info on the brake system modification made by the govt.
I believe they moved the switch so it would last longer, from hydraulic fluid contact to air contact.
That is why OD iron's site says
"Brake PSI switch "updated" verson used on 2.5 and 5 ton air packs. NSN 5930-01-189-0494"
NDT,
The DUKW didn't have the original shackles, 2" throat w/ 1"pin, neither did the rigging place.
So the smallest shackle the rigging Co. had on hand with a 1" pin was 4" wide (used 2" of spacers) , which would not fit in the recess where the eye was located. Long story short, to much...
Some day I am getting that DUKW.:jumpin:
But not this weekend.
Just did a successful recovery though, no damage, no one hurt got everything back to where it started without incident.
Just so everyone knows a dukw has shackle eyes on the bow, but they are 2" in width. Standard Vietnam era tow...
Any one in the troutdale area with space to store a rig for a week?
I am trying to flat tow a dukw with the 5 ton, but 2" shackles didn't work with 1-5/8 tow bar feet.
Looking around here for a flat bed to haul as another option.
Give me a call 5x9 5x1 2x5x
Scott,
1st
thanx for the visor it will tun into something good.
2nd,
Just wire your low air pressure switch thru contacts on the doors,
That buzzer will either scare someone away or annoy the pi$$ out of them.:D
If they are going to take your stuff, make them work for it.
Just a quick update and off to beddy by.
Matt, Tony & Mike arrive at Yelm 9:30.
Mike and Tony said goodbye to Matt/Varyag after he loaded up in Yelm, maybe 2:30-3PM.
How time flies when you are having so much fun.
Then Mike and I finally got out of there and on the road about 5:30PM.
And Mike...
About the trailer loading.
Don't you guys on the West side have large mounds of dirt to use as loading ramps for tractor trailers? Over here on the East side, we just grab the front end loader and dig an angled ditch into the ground and then back the trailer into that and pile the dirt up as a...
Welcome home and thank you for your service.
What part of OR?

10-32 screws. same as 19" rack panels.
Wire brush the threads on both Male and Female connections.
Push the connector on, spin on a few threads, push the connector again, spin a few more threads, repeat until the connector won't push on any further.
Sometimes easier to do before you fish the...
Looks real nice Scotty.
So what happened to the attached sun shade/visor?
I think the fold out steps are great if you keep with 9x20 tire.
Go any larger and your hosed.
Welcome to the Pacific North West.
If you get home sick for the brown dry hot heat, never fear Kennewick, WA is just a few hours away.
Nothing like that coastal part of the state.
Hope to meet you at the rally.
Remember the network travels with you no matter where you wind up being stationed.
Nice possibilities.
If you get it and part it out I am interested in the tach type dash panel.
Or would swap you a regular panel if you were so inclined.
If anyone else has tach dash panels PM me.
Or like MadDawg308's signature used to say:
Teach a man to build a fire, keep him warm at night.
Set him on fire, he will be warm the rest of his life.
