you never know where you will find a cool deuce

Hey, speaking of finding a cool deuce...I saw one for sale in Dayton, OH. Is it appropriate for me to post that info in a given forum here? I assume NOT in the Classifieds since I'm not selling it, but...not sure what to do with the info.

    SF-97 in KY

Wow, then we really didn't need to do the SF-97 at all, did we? Well, that's money wasted.

    SF-97 in KY

greenjeepster, is this the form that GL is filling out for you? http://www.hccoky.org/pdf/vtr.pdf Any additional cost for them to do that? I guess it has to be notarized and everything? Local county clerk told me this wouldn't be necessary if I went with historic plates (I guess we can...

    Fisrt Deuce

I'm still kinda new to this myself, but I think if you have a switch on the lower dash to engage the front axle then it's air.

    M332 air line (parts)

Awesome, thanks guys. I figured it would be simple. Can't wait to get started! I assume it's perfectly safe to pull behind a deuce without the air lines even hooked up...especially empty...

    M332 air line (parts)

I have a great M332 ammo trailer that I can't wait to get home and work on (it's being stored at my employer's shop in Ohio until I can pick it up). In looking it over I found some notes inside the box in the front, including an inspection tag from May 2009 stating "Air service line dry...

Yeah, the "I found this picture somewhere" approach was a better way to ask this question.

    How to remove carc

I've read some threads on here that the "bad" stuff when it comes to CARC is the SOLVENT, which is long gone by the time you sand it off. I would like to find some more evidence as to whether the danger in CARC is more in painting or in sanding.

    EUC Holding Pattern

This quick approval was my 2nd EUC, and my 1st approval was only about a month ago--I'm sure that helped. I got some M9 bayonets.

    How to remove carc

Is a "fresh air mask" different than the typical white cup-looking mask from Lowes?

    How to remove carc

I'm going to use a 4-1/2" grinder with a sanding wheel...I forget the brand name of the wheel but I got it at Lowes and it requires a rubber / plastic backer plate. Like you I don't plan on removing the CARC, just smoothing. BUT, I wonder: if I really sand and prime rusty areas, then paint...
