I heard back from the Rep he said $135 shipping for either 12 gallons or 20 gallons. I say we shoot for 20, that way shipping is only $6.75 per gallon making it $40.75 per gallon including freight--pretty reasonable!
I'm thinking probably around beginning of March we order. I would want to...
I traded e-mails with a rep from the company I linked in the OP. He suggested we shoot for 12 gallons minimum to get the best price, because the info on their homepage is somewhat dated. He is going to give me a quote, including freight, to my office (commercial location) for 12 and 20 gallons...
Do y'all just sit and read these manuals at the computer? Too many pages to print out...or is it? I guess I could go buy a cheap ream of paper and a 3-ring binder...
What about a Kindle or similar device? Do they read PDF files well?

1. Wrap some thin aluminum around my 1/2" drive extension and see if that'll snug it up enough to turn, or...
2. Find a star-drive bit that I can hammer...
Ha! That's awesome. Well glad to hear it all went well. I would love to lend a hand when you get into replacing axle seals and such. Great opportunity to learn on your truck. :-D Seriously though, let me know!
Hey did you get out allright? I felt bad after I left, like I could have done more to be helpful. Unfortunately the genny I brought would not start, so i didn't have the ability to use the compressor either.
Mine does have some surface rust on the front bumper and one fender. I'll work on it...
I know the truck is from 1972 and a plate on the dash said it was refurbed in 1987. Where do I find out the year of the engine, though?
And I hate to admit it, but I'm not sure what an FDC is.
