The Wait-to-Start lamp is powered from the Master Start Switch when in the Run position. The lamp illuminates when the circuit is completed when 571 (terminal E) is taken to ground inside the Protective Control Box, as shown on the attached snips from the larger diagram found near the end of...
I received the wiper motor today (ordered on April 27 and shipped on the 29th). It was delivered by US postal service. It has every appearance of being a genuine military surplus part in new condition, and it works!
I thought another wiper motor might appear for sale but that hasn't happened...
I received tracking info and an image of a customs form for the wiper motor. The email address on the paperwork is associated with this website...looks like a lot of surplus that could be expected to sell well to the public in SK, but probably they realize the US is a better market for the...
The buyer should be protected against failure to deliver under the eBay money back guarantee. I just bought the "Qty 1" wiper motor for $250 which seems like a pretty good price for the old style. It will be interesting to see if another "Qty 1" appears for sale...

A film production company has asked me about renting several of mine for a film to be produced locally, with the filming to take just a few days. I'm not sure what would be a fair rental rate. The $500 a day sounds pretty good. Does anybody have any other data points for HMMWV rental rates...
I have not had occasion to get into a 12K axle rebuild yet, so I have not previously looked for any alternative boots to the 57K3515 kit called out in the parts manual. One thing to note if you do use the 57K3515 kit is that it does not include the tulip, part 5715542, as noted on the HPG...
Can you tell what is leaking on the IP? Could be the front seal weep hole, advance plunger seal, injector line fitting or other place? A leaking injector line fitting or the advance plunger seal might be correctable without removing the pump.

M1152 about to roll out. Should be in the outdoor vendor area...the M1152 is looking for a new home (small re-homing fee).

My son and I replaced a rear fender over the summer. I found the Youtube video by AMTAK2 to be helpful. One thing we did different was that we completely removed and reattached the piece across the front attachment point (behind the rear seat area) rather than cutting a v-notch in it and...
I have had several that were very squirrelly as described, and the issue was that the rear tires were toed out. It is easy to detect and correct with a string alignment. I would check toe with a string on each side, and set the rears neutral. This can make a big improvement even with a large...
Glad the problem cleared up. I'll just mention one case I had in which a torque converter had a knock because it had the wrong bolts installed. The bolts for the flywheel cover are longer and had gotten mixed up apparently during prior maintenance. The longer bolts bottom out so they seem tight...
If you scroll down in Upcoming Events you should find the upcoming MVPA Kilroy chapter event in October 2023, in Bullitt County KY.
