Massters
Thanks, yea, we have that site for reference, plus I have some photos from my time in Germany when I painted our units trucks in this pattern! I carry my photos with me as most people have never heard of the MASSTERS pattern, kinda "ya had to be there" thingy!
Thank You for the comment! My son and I did put some work into it as you can see by the photo. The good side is there was no rust to speak of, so all we needed was the paint prep work, and add all the missing parts to bring it back to original!
Delivered tents for a local non-profit Veterans Group.
Then came back and replaced my severely cracked Steering Wheel! Much better!
All in a days work!! lol
I was going to suggest this same procedure, also as stated get the bar off and let the PB float down the tube for a bit won't hurt!
On a side note, we, since the 900's came out always stored the short chain in a locked BII box! You don't want to be stuck somewhere with out it!
And a "TIP" when...
There are exception, especially from the military! But the standard is:
TM -10 is for the Operator, everything that an operator is responsible for and can do is in that TM, he is not suppose to go to a higher echelon! The Army worked on 4 echelons, each being able to do a higher level of...
We got them issued in a Medical unit, not sure if they went to any other type, nothing special as to why we got them and they were almost never used! I think we carried some junk around the building once or twice, we had several and the others stayed banded the way they can for a long time, not...
Like when they call a handtruck a "Wheel truck, mobile"!! Remember most who work there have never been in the military and their job description does not say they have to go out and measure and look up what something really is! Very frustrating sometimes!
Or even better, when you look up tents...
Didn't know your 105 looked similar, do you have picture of it back then, it must have come from Germany, The MASSTERS was supposed to only be in Europe! That would be cool to know!

Paint
Had fun, enjoyed seeing old friends and also got to use the MKT Sleeper!!
And for those who didn't know, the funny colored truck was the MASSTERS paint design, also know as 7th Army Camo!
We painted this on our trucks in Germany in 1974!
Thanks to all the people who put on a great show!
Welcome from Attleboro!
We also have Bass Pro everyother Thursday, tomorrow, but we'll all be in NH.
Then there is the RI Show in Quonset 2nd weekend in Sept!
See ya soon!

Hi all!
I work for Operation Stand Down, it's a non-profit Veterans Support Organization, I'm seeing a BASE-X 305 in Virginia Beach and would like to know if anyone could pick up "Local Pickup Only" and help get it up to the North East.
Nothing is locked in yet, I'm just testing the waters...
Weare NH
Here is the page with info and contact e-mail and phone numbers, I think it might be better if you talked directly to Deb and Nick as soon as possible. It sounds like things might be getting tight!
