Well 9 days later and my EUC is cleared. That was the shortest 60 day wait I have ever had. I guess first time buyers shouldn't expect a 60 day wait on the EUC. Good thing I was pacing myself on the TMs since I had so much time.:)
I guess I will spend this weekend buying fluids and...
They tried to force Once-fired-brass to be destroyed and outrage from the reloading community at what was at least perceived as an Anti-gun move stopped it and had the rule changed.
This is your govt, all you need to do is tell them to knock it off and they will.... assuming you get enough...
out of curiosity, what is the Govts reason for forced destruction of HMMWVs?
I can see where the competition with the Humvee may have been an issue to the company that produced them for civ. release, but to my knowledge they are off the market.
Thanks to everyone who responded.
My guess is the trailer is rated at 2000-2500 (I don't actually know but it is NOT a 3500 lb axle by the look of it.) That would make this load at least a 1000-1800 lbs over capacity and temps are in the 100s. My thought is overloaded tires die fast.
I can...
I have seen these listed at 300 lbs each with the wheel from the GL listing, and I have seen them as much as 480 lbs from a reseller. They are 395 85R20s.
Can anyone give me a warm fuzzy that the 300 lbs each estimate is the real number? I will be picking 8 of these up with a repurposed...
That is definitely a no brainier for you, if you can get full coverage at that rate.
Which insurance company?
Is that with discounts from other policies?
Sorry, I see the avatar and make assumptions. Just like I assume Doghead is Elvis's long lost twin brother.
...umm, just in case there was any confusion, I'm not actually a Giant Schnauzer like you would naturally assume from my own avatar. 8-)
Best of luck fixing up the M35A3, you...
What, so you're saying that would be wrong.
Hope you're correct, fingers crossed. Would love nothing more then to be forced to drive her and only perform routine maintence. :driver:
Nice job!
I just bought my first Deuce and haven't picked it up yet, but look forward to restoring it.
I don't have the time to take it apart and fix everything at once. Like you, I am going to restore it one piece at a time as I have time to work on it.
My main worry is that I will have so much...
That makes a lot of sense. I was thinking of taking 77 which shadows 35 in the hopes of avoiding some of the faster traffic.
I assume the big rigs know how to drive their trucks, I was more concerned about the cars texting on their cell phones and scratching the back of my truck. :)
LOL, I once had a Tx trooper pull me over in my 1976 Trans Am, and all he wanted to do was pop the hood and talk about the engine. After we talked a bit, he said he pulled me over for no front license plate, then said not to worry about it.
Glad to hear it isn't high on their concern...
I would first like to thank everyone for their help, present and future.
I am in the process of getting an insurance estimate based on registering the truck as a TX FMV.
I will get the $5 registration on the trip back to Texas as suggested.
I have a copy of the GTA and will use it as a...
