turning an M936A2 wrecker into something even more useful

Purchased an M936A2 and another hightop M923A2 a few weeks ago. Have been thinking about swapping some parts around to make one supertruck, and wanted to get some feedback before I jump into this. The idea is to build a super-versatile heavy-duty cargo-length hightop tractor with a knuckleboom...

Legal Issues that could effect all MV Owners

We'd like to donate a medium towbar ($150 value). Can we do some kind of auction to help with the fundraising? Anybody else have anything to throw in?

    Wrecker wishlist of mods

We have one of those M936A2 wreckers with the counterweights. Would be easy to reproduce and can take some measurements if anyone would like to take a crack at it.

    brake adjusting tool

What's the preferred tool and method to adjust the brakes on the M939 series trucks? The manuals are not too specific, and we were in a pinch, so removed the inspections covers and used a screwdriver. Would just like to be better prepared next time.

Traction control for an M35 series.

Cheapest/easiest way to use the brakes to improve traction is to add cutting brakes. Nothing automatic about it, but it's effective (compared to open diffs).

Another M35A2 Tractor Conversion With A Major LDT-465-1C mods

Why in the world would anyone want to do that, when the NV4500 is only about 1/2 as strong as the 3053A?

Towbar Y feet (3/4 in and 1 in feet) Safety

3/4 to 1" adapters? What are those all about? My brother and I have a bunch of 3/4" feet and we'd like to have some spacers made that would allow us to use them with vehicles that have 1" shackle mounts, but I'm not sure if the 3/4" pins are strong enough. Tried contacting one of the...

Towbar Y feet (3/4 in and 1 in feet) Safety

Interesting. I have three (one and a half pair) of the 3/4 & 1" combo feet that fit the medium adjustable towbars and would sure like to know if they're unsafe to use.
