I'll try to get the pic's from my brother.
Being air froce I'd bet it would have been in better shape and may have lasted longer than most. He told me how they would test fire the .50's. That all 4 gun were aimed at the same piont. I forget how may yards out, but they would bonce a 55gal drum...
Makes me wounder if that could have been the one my dad drove? Hard to say. My brother has my dad's photo album from when he was in Korea. I need to get him to copy the pic's for me.
Thanks for saving it.
My dad drove a M16 in the Korean war. He was a MP in the army/ air force (he started in the army but then the air force split off). They use the M16 to patrol the air fields at night.
I wish he was still here to to see yours.
Cool I need that plate for my '87. Does anyone know when they started to put TM 9-2320-361-?? on the data plate. Does anyone have a scan of the warranty plate from the late model trucks?
You are right in not using 14's , but he said 14.5's those will work. Like on my truck's I'm running 9.00's on the rear and 12.50's on the front. The .5 make them shorter.
I have seen that are more like scratch in than engraved. I also have one that was stamped when it was in the truck. Looks like they use a BFH ,I bet I can read the numbers in the dash behind the plate.
Thats an old water trailer. It would be better to sell it as that and buy a M105 and a fuel pod. I would hate to take it apart. It looks like it's mostly all there.
I was there the week befor and got a tan M105 too.:D But mine has peeling paint:( But the rest of it looks good. Glade too here all went well. Yours looks real nice.
The mailman bought me a box today and in it was a new to me valve for the front of my M149A2:D:D Thanks to a fellow SS'er who had a used one. I now have one more pice to my M149A2 puzzle.
