A pulse manifold can have effects on brake operation as well as turbo turbine housing. A pulse manifold has smaller ports, increasing velocity thru the manifold and into the turbine housing. If you use a divided entry turbo with a pulse manifold, the autolash screws might need to be installed or...
Yes, coolant only in the head. Take the inlet pipe off from the cylinder head to compressor. If no coolant, it is just the compressor. If an aftercooler leaks coolant usually, 8 of 10 times, migrates to the rear cylinders due to drive angle an hydraulics the engine, if the leak is bad enough.
And, I think I might have stated somewhere that the other 60 did not have these pipes, well, it does too. Both were USMC tanks. The TMs we have are Army pubs. and do not show the piping. Without them there the pack removal would be a bit easier, they are very close to the hull.
Fan hub is correct. In the attached pics, OP, yours is circled in red, Jbulach is in blue. That is the tensioner stop. OP, yours is at the stop that is at the "Max Tension" or Min tension, Jbulach is where it is supposed to be, almost centered between the "Min Tension" and "Max Tension". It...
Rusty...TMI man! I would like to find out what the piping is. I don't think it is for crew ventilation, I do not think it actually puts exh gasses into the boxes they attach to. Maybe some type of heating system? When running, there are pulses in the piping, no soot. If anyone comes out this...
Cracked or just in need of a rebuild, the o-rings and paper gaskets get brittle. Have not seen too many crack. What engine is it? If the aftercooler leaks, the coolant can be drawn into the compressor and end up in the dryer/wet tank, remember, the compressor gets it's air from the intake...
I had one in my deuce, I got a pile of them at a scrap yard and they matched the holes in the window frame like it was made for it. Let me see if I can find a pic.
My bad, as time passes, you forget things! Here is the mirror(s) I had.....

^^ I agree, you are messing with your and everyone elses life around you when you scotch hobble things together like that. You need to find out what the issue is.
Here are some pics. Line art drawing, non top stop on the left, op stop on the right. Picture, top stop left, non top stop center and HVT/STC on the right.
Most had non-top stop. The way you can identify it is just like in the video above. You can see the spring. You can physically pull the spring and plunger out of the injector. A top stop injector has what looks like a giant 12-point nut on the top of it and the only thing you can pull out of the...
I just watched this...This guy is confused. The injectors are NOT top stops, NEVER do IBC on these type.
Well, I guess you can do what you want, but what he said to do will cause issues.
If it came out of an off road piece of machinery, most likely 24vdc. The cal will need changing to an automotive type because the cal in is set at variable speed, it will drive like a CAT powered truck, you can try it like that though. IIRC, FW hsg from a mechanical 8.3 will swap over to the...
If you go to the vid in the first post, at 18 seconds you can see the device. It can be seen at 46 seconds in the 2nd vid too. It is not mounted to anything except at the place that looks like the mount fasttruck posted in the first pic in post 19
As far as the steering brakes go, the lever and buttons still move, did not try them when moving it for fear that something would stick or fail when it was in the middle of the compound. More work to be done on it at a later date, I will tinker with them then. I was under it for a bit hitting it...
Is it lifted and maybe the first hard wheeling outingor maybe it is just getting old? If the springs sag, the steering wheel will do that. A drop drag link fixes that. My K30 continually did that when I used it.
Here is an example...
