I know that it is improbable to get some gauge brackets since they are not sold separate from the gauges. Most likely these things are missing or broken Like mine. I had an idea to use mold maker from michaels and fiberglass resin i had laying around to try to replicate this. Here is what I got...
Here is the difference. One from AM general through MacMotors and one from the ebay scammer ilminterprise.
I’m not irritated about the money, it is more the time take to install and remove these, the wait time, and the confusion he gave me and aparently other sellers of this part (according to...
i was thinking of the lock grade 8 bolts. The ones with the indents on the back. The package that I purchased, I am calling it a wash and ot using any of it. The guy was dishonest in the listing and after reading other reviews in ilminterprise’s profile, I will not purchase from him again. I...
Thanks for clerifying it. It makes sense that I received a generic part. I will go with the safe bet and keep my orders on mac motors hpg or amg.
Thank you all. This site is helpful and responsive. I wish Microsoft support was as responsive like this. Lol
Took it to Orileys, autozone, advanced auto, and nappa. No one was able to find something like this unless I could append this to a production car. my question is, should I buy the same part number again (I was sent a wrong part) or should I be looking for a different part number?
If the guy...
Hello,
i am looking to see if there is more than one part number for Ubolts that ties in the front driveshaft to the transfer case. Here is what I ordered from ilminterprise from Humble Texas.
This is the only part number that I could find from my TM. what I received looks like the photo...
Seems to be the case for most people parting together one of these. Now you know the dimensions. Would be nice if someone started to make these and sell them.
It came with my kit a while ago. i kist thought it was a spacer so I mounted it behind the plate. It was no easy task removing it while the wheel was still mounted on it. Lol
Dont have the skew but it is in the grade 8 thick washer box. It will be hard to miss. As for the black one, that might have to be special ordered or custom made. I would just get a qtr inch plate and ask a machine shop to cut 2 to 2.25” outside diameter and a half inch inside diameter circle...
got it on. Took some photos. The little mxc washer is the spacer I used so I can keep the mudflaps on the outside. It is slightly thinner than the mudflap but there is a patrusion on the bumper and the mud flaps compensates for this with a slightly hollowed out section behind the metal. That...
found it.
it is as thick as the mudflap metal. i though they were spacers For the mudflap. I will send a photo after I remove it with measurements. It is a grade8 steel washer painted black in carc.
How much is a pair of brass washers and a thick painted steel washer worth? It all looks like generic parts. I think for the grade 8 bolt and lock washers, i got a stack of them from an assorted pack so I’m good there.
Not the best job but saves me 60$.
i have parchment paper(for cooking) under so I can limit spill. it doesnt stick. I used shop paper towel to get the excess dripping to the bottom.
this seems to do the job.
Thanks for your help.
Response time is quick and helpful on this site.
Thanks for telling me. Now that I know what it is, it took me 3 seconds to find the PN. 12338468
since my lower blower still works with no issue, I will leave it. I may paint some resin on it to keep it solid, unless someone tells me otherwise.
I was looking in the dash and I saw that this looked loose. What is this? What does it do? Is it repairable or should I buy a new one? I liiked through the electronics section from my TM and couldn’t find it. what is the part number if I need to replace it. One of its wires is coded 399.
Thanks
You need to drill the holes a bit bigger. They should go on just fine.
after looking at your photo, the circles might be bigger than the depth of your rail edge. would grinding down the circles work? Take a close look at how it is pressed on. You might have to tac weld it from the back before...
