Hey James- It was a pleasure doing business with you! I am glad your trip home was good. You got a really nice truck there! I know you will enjoy it.
I have a few pics of that truck--- let me know if you want me to post them up---
THANKS!!!:-D
ps- another guy came by today and bought...
JIMBO!!! Howsitgoin!? Funny you should chime in--- was thinking about you this morning. Your tires are safe and sound!
Do you mean throw the tires in the back of the Bobbed Deuce? Or do you have something going with a M1008???
If you are kickin in $500- that will definitely help- and...
That is an option--- just wanted to put it out there for SS peeps first. I would rather hire someone that I have somekind of MV connection with! But, I will put it out there if I cant find anyone.
I hire 53' trailers for a $1.50 all the time. I have a guy who wants the Deuce, but we have to find some cheap shipping to make it work. $1000 is the budget for this job. Sometimes trucks have 20' extra space that they would like to get paid a $1000 for, and they are going that way anyways...
If I close the deal with a guy for the Bobbed Deuce, we'll need it transported to 73801 Woodward, OK or close by. It is approx 1168miles. Can be as close as Amarillo which would be less miles.
The truck is 20' long x 96" wide x 115" to the top of the stack (I can cut the stack if need...
So, Johnson Valley it is???
You guys wont regret it- its the perfect place for us! I will scout out a good place to shoot.
How about sometime in March? Or even Feb? (I cant wait!)
I know I have a BIG Jeep deal going on out there in April sometime-- I'll check the dates. Also I will...
I say ther Hammers area- we could camp at Means dry lake, check out the Hammer trails. There are alot of trails there that the MVs could handle, plus some sand dunes, Giant Rock, bomb holes, Integretron, we could convoy up to Pappi and Harriets Saloon/resturant in Pioneer town, and if you guys...
These mileage reports are very encouraging!
I like that shell on youe truck! How much lift do you have (if any) to run 37s? Are you running Hummer tires?
Re: RE: My first CUCVs!!!
Thanks, BB! They are my newest additions to the "Hundy Compound" ! They came from Barstow.
I would guess there is a math error in your neighbors math. Although I would LOVE it if they got that kind of mileage!!! Could it really get 23? I really dont think so...
Recovered a 1986 M1009 Blazer and 2 M1028s today. I am excited about learning about them as these are the first ones I have bought.
All three have approx 40K miles and run great! One of the M1028s is very straight bodied too! The other two have a few dents and a small amount of rust. All...
Guys- If I was a little closer, I'd buy every one of them if they are decent. I get $200 a piece for them over here.
49" tall and I know its debatable, but they will go on a stock rim just fine.
Camp DirtBag '08 was a huge success!!!
Michelle and I, my buddy Adam, Turbo n Gigi all had a GREAT TIME! It was great to meet some cool peeps from the board here. Thanks to our fearless leader WillWagner for leading the way!
Thanks to Devin for the hookup on tires and coolers, and thanks to...
