When I spin the pulley by hand and I held the back of it I hear it right at the pulley snout. The clutch spins but I get a chirp that sounds like what I’m hearing at a faster rpm. I don’t know what’s inside the clutch assembly and the diagram I seen didn’t show anything but the pulley and how to...
I took my belt off and 2 of the 4 idler pulleys off. Bearings looked good and spun freely without noise. Belt tensioner seems to have plenty of tension. The only pulley that made any noise was the pulley on generator and I believe that’s where it’s coming from. I didn’t remove it because I need...
battery or batteries?
Ron was a big help getting me set up with my batteries and they should ship the 22nd of this month. I was surprised when he told me they are built to order with zero time sitting on the shelf. Thank you for the giveaway!
You need a 7.00 bracket to make it right. I gave you the part number and I got mine from Kascar. This is what you need if you are mounting it all on the windshield frame and not on the body for the lower mount
I believe this is the part number you need. I ordered it for my M1123 that had the driver side mirror lower than the passenger side. I think it was 6.00 from Mac or Am general. 12342135
It was 6.85 at Kascar
Looks like it’s in good shape. Smokes a little out of the oil tube. Tires don’t match but they all probably need to be replaced anyways. Needs a Good cleaning as they all do. I think you have a good starting point for a nice truck. Congratulations
Weird, I’m with Hagerty and they charge me like 250.00 more a year for it being parked outside. When I sell some Harleys I will start parking in the garage. I’m glad it’s working out as good as it is for you.
Might be worth asking how much more full coverage is. Maybe a few hundred. I pay 991 a year and I have towing. Looks like you need the 3 rubber pieces that hold the hood up when closed.
I installed that black dog fuel cut off switch and I couldn’t be happier. I hid it in the best location ever and it can’t be found. They can crank it over until batteries are dead but it’s not going anywhere! 79.00 dollars I think and it’s good quality stuff
Cheap insurance! I will look into it. It’s kinda overwhelming because there are so many available. I want one that I can track on my phone. I had LoJack on a truck that was stolen and they called cops and gave location before dogshit could do anything to it. What I didn’t like is they wouldn’t...
I’m so happy for you! It ended better than it probably should have due to your leg work and stupid people that don’t properly know how to steal. I think you can probably recover your parts working with popo. This whole thing has made me start looking for a GPS tracker for my Humvee. They are not...
So you steal a Humvee and your get away car is an RV? Probably not dealing with the smartest thieves in AZ. You are not going to get very far driving the Humvee with no lights and plates. I think it’s going to be recovered. You have filed police report so they will look out for it? That just has...
That belt is not on right. It’s not touching the pulley with the ribs on it. I don’t have ac but I think yours should be routed the same way and probably a 112” belt
You can’t be traveling very fast while trying to make a right hand turn. Cars are not made like Humvee’s and if it was able to drive away Humvee is fine. Just my 2 cents.
Was the other vehicle a truck or a Prius? How fast were they going? I would think Hmmwv could take a big hit and be ok. I would do a visual from a distance and see if front tire is true and straight and if ok I would drive it. Towing is the other option. Maybe you go drive it back. Sorry for the...
