They are doing the same thing to the public also. I don’t trust anything that comes from them. I’m sure they have some good stuff but it needs to be disclosed that’s it’s aftermarket. 950.00 life lesson that I could have done without.
No cameras in the area? Shops, stores , ect. Probably had to tow it or was it running? Seems like you should be able to get some idea of what exactly happened and what they were driving.
I was told by my insurance they would cover it and when it came down to it they said they wouldn’t do full...
Even without snow I think that’s where it should be. It has to be better there than where it was. I picture water coming over the hood and finding the lowest spot. I think it’s perfect and I’m not going thru nipple deep water but I don’t want stuff packed around it like you said with snow. I had...
I installed a 4” coupler from Home Depot. I really like the looks of intake a little higher and I think it will get better air than being down in that hole. Best 8.78 I have spent so far.
Mac Motors sent me a response about the belt tensioner. They said they are on national back order and they should have them in stock mid November. I guess I will deal with my squealing until then. I have never had a belt tensioner go bad on anything I have ever had and I’m not sure mine is bad...
I keep a log for my vehicles on my phone under Notes. Each vehicle has is own section and I have yet to lose my phone unlike paper that I can’t keep track of. I can also print it out if needed. I usually have my phone with me while working on stuff so I can add a pic if needed. Log books look...
Hahaha. Mine comes and goes and it sounds the same on the right side as it does the left. It gets louder as you rev it up or put a load on it. I don’t care what it is as long as it’s not the generator/alternator. I even got the stethoscope on the pulleys and I can’t locate where it’s coming...
I’m having a hard time finding the oem part and the usual places are out of it. I was hoping someone here would have an over the counter solution. The place here that’s amazing with rebuilding everything is permanently closed and that is sad
I have the one with the lip.
I checked my pulley alignment and everything looks good and belt runs true when I idle it up. Tensioner looks like it has lots of room to go Before it’s wore out. I loosened up the pulleys one at a time to see if I could get the sound to change but it didn’t make a...
Belt is starting to chirp after 75 miles or so. I think my tensioner is the problem and I will replace it and double check all my pulleys and alignment. I can’t find the tensioner. I need the one for 196000 and above. I found the part number in the TM 600637 and also a different number that I...
That has the elbow that goes into the air canister. Yes you can get water into it but I think it has a one way deal on the bottom of the canister. It doesn’t rain very much in Yermo and I they started it already. Shipping on something that doesn’t drive on the trailer is more expensive. I would...
I have the same duckbill open drain as Coug was referring to. Any water from rain or anything but dumping a bucket of water on it should drain no problem. I would assume that you have the same setup. I just took my canister off and I want to say it has a rubber piece that lets water out but not...
9.95 harbor freight sells a headlight restoration kit and it goes on a drill and it will bring anything back to life… I used it on my exterior lenses and it works amazing.
I think you could bypass the metal polish and use the PlastX instead. Mine were so bad they probably needed to be sanded with 2,000 and then polished. I used the metal polish as the 2,000 grit paper.
Mine were really bad and I was going to replace them anyways so I thought I would try to polish them before I removed them. I wiped them off with a paper towel that had carb cleaner on it and then I hit it with some aluminum polish that’s blue in color and in a short container. The sticker on...
