My personal experience to date. Missed several nice trucks because they were more than I was willing to pay. Did research on 4 vehicles for sale on the same day and missed 3 of the 4. I decided that if I was going to purchase one I needed to put in a more aggressive bid. I bid 13,000 on my M1123...
Today I finished my windshields and it’s a night and day difference. I didn’t use new gaskets but I will when I get it painted. Best 83.00 dollars I have spent on it so far. Driver side in passenger side sand blasted courtesy of Yermo
Just opened it and it’s my policy and welcome packet and proof of insurance cards. I did read on the 3rd page and it said classic insurance policy. Hope it helps
I just called and they said they would do my 2007 H2 also. I didn’t ask for classic insurance. I did get a large envelope from them in the mail today and have yet to open it but I’m thinking it’s my packet for my policy. New models come out in September anyways so I would think 2002 would be...
I really like this. I don’t know what it would take to piece it together or if it’s available. I don’t want a hole or ring or any of those expensive parts. I believe this is a M1165? I have seen a few sexy helmet tops also
Won? Hahaha, really a loose term I guess to make a person feel better about paying more than the next guy. I got mine the same way and I’m very happy with it but I will never call it a Win. 50 wings for the price of 25 is a Win! Wait times sucks and if I was doing it again I wouldn’t buy...
Really nice work! About posting pics, I post full size images because it’s really hard to view on my phone. The bottom header takes up most of the screen and you can’t see what you want to see very well. This is what I see
But the electric Humvee stays in the “HMMWV “ section? I guess ripping everything out and going from diesel to electric is not considered a modification here.
So converting a 2 man to a 4 man is moved to the dead Hmmwv modification section but this thread is here? There is zero discretion in how they do stuff here! I think everything Hmmwv belongs here even this blasphemy. If this doesn’t qualify for a modification I don’t know what would.
You can get movers permit online I believe. I don’t know if you need one because you just got it and you have to have appointment for dmv, mine is for December 6th and I’m driving it until then. Not my fault they are run by idiots….
I’m fully insured with Hagerty today!
I asked about insuring my 2007 Hummer H2 while I had him on the phone. I have heard from some members that said they wouldn’t do anything that wasn’t 20 years old or older. He said that it meets the qualifications for them as long as it’s not a daily driver...
Bloody hell. 1,800 is the cheapest/best option for a replacement? I hope my stuff lasts awhile. Really an unusual vehicle to have the opportunity to experience. Worth every penny if you still have pennies left.
I’m willing to learn. It was a total shitshow! I have never ever had any problems with a simple belt change but I couldn’t get it off any other way. It’s embarrassing to admit. I did want to remove air cleaner anyways because during the de mil process they moved my coolant tank to where I only...
Got the new belt on today. What a pain it was. I had to take the fender liner out and the air cleaner off to get the tool in to release the tensioner. Probably could’ve done it without all that if I had a little help. Squeak is gone and that’s all that matters. Next is gasket on top of the tank...
