Here is a picture of the neutral safety switch on the driver's side of the transmission. I had not noticed the masking tape...
I had a failure of the PCB in my M925A1 last year. As part of the troubleshooting, I made some notes and took some pictures, attached. Mine was the type with a circuitboard. Hopefully the wiring diagrams will be helpful to someone in troubleshooting. I also put together a little...
For a M925A1, looking for a serviceable spare 14R20 Goodyear AT-2A, preferably mounted on a wheel and holding air. Something around half tread would be OK as long as the tire is sound.
Also need fiberglass side rails for one side including the short piece. I have a fiberglass troop seat I...
Looks like we'll be able to make it Friday/Saturday, just one overnight. We'll bring either the M925 or M925A1, but I would like to have a line on a good spare (Goodyear 14R20 with wheel) for the M925A1 to bring it as we have no spare at present. I am posting for one in the parts thread...
Charlie B, it sounds like you have made some progress by getting the main power relay to pull in but just need to get the starter to operate. You might want to take a look at the wiring diagram again, figure out what each pin is doing and what is needed to complete the starter circuit (e.g...
Jeff, looks like we'll be able to make it, with either the M925 we had at the 4rth of July parade last year, or the M925A1. Thanks for getting this together. Chris.
At least a couple have sold before. You can do a google advanced search and find stuff; just limit the domain to govliquidation.com and use keywords (e.g. PLS, M1074).

Google "Sand Trail" tires. Looks like some of these come through GL. This set looks like it ran underinflated on pavement, outside wore out: http://www.govliquidation.com/auction/view?auctionId=6785951
Tire selections for a 20" wheel this wide could be limited. Most tires this wide are...
I think one of the modes of vibration is rocking of the axles through the pivot. In this mode the tires are acting as springs, and the entire assembly is rocking as a spring-mass-damper system, with, as noted, probably not a lot of damping. This system has similar characteristics across the...
As noted by 05blackduramax, hose clamps can be loose and I have had trouble getting some to tighten up very well...I have an assortment in my recovery kit. I have seen lots of new hoses but also some fairly old ones.
Standard advise also is to check fasteners, especially in the running gear...
Similar situation here sleepercab, also have a couple of IHs sitting around ('50 1/2 ton, '56 1 ton), and many projects in various states. But the wife has conceded maybe a couple more 5-tons would make sense...this is an improvement, since when she saw all the trucks at bobr2004's place she...
M10014 results in only a couple of Google hits...got to be a typo. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAN_KAT1 .
8x8s are cool...try a search on SISU E13TP. There are some cool Youtube vids on Tatras also...
If you saw M10014 somewhere it is a typo...these models run M1001, M1002, M1013 and M1014. See mantrucksusa.com. The 8 forward gears must be a blast to drive...
