    831a oil pressure switch problem solved

    Another member here picked up a 813A kind of recently. Experienced the same Low Oil Pressure issue. Turn out his oil pressure switch went bad. As previously mentioned, be sure to verify oil pressure with a mechanical gauge.

    Need Consoling.....

    You may need to "exercise" the reconnection switch. The contacts may be oxidized from sitting so long and not making good contact. Only exercise the switch with the set shut down.

    Safest way to uses a MEP 804b as a backup generator

    You'll only get 208 volts instead of 240 volts across the two phases used. Not sure if any of your 240 loads will care.
