Is there a plaque on the drivers side door jamb? what about a sticker on the drivers door? drivers side inner fender? They should all match up. I think someone switched the cab or vin?

take a test light and connect the negative to the alligator clip. With the ground off the battery complete the loop with the test light. That will tell you if you have a short.
I am not familiar with the 1010 but I think you can make it work. If that is the only alt you have you should be fine. The only problem I see is the tube that goes from the turbo to the Intake hat. You will just have to make a custom one. I have pictures of my install some where around here.
Nothing is burnt. I was playing around with the meter and could not figure it out. Everything was the same between the good one and the bad one. I'm not gonna worry about it because civi ones are the same.

I finally have everything working like it should. I did however mess up One printed circuit and burnt another one but it still works. Is there any fixes for these. I tried what Warthog has done but no success.
