It looks really good. Only two changes I see fit. Use a little more box tubing or bar before the tube starts so the shackles can be installed just in front of the pins holding the mount to the shackle tubes. And a little larger diameter tube primarily just for looks but wont hurt strength...
If you want to run that motor a little longer, replace the one piston, hone the cylinder good. Put the new head on it and go. You will probably be a little low on compression in that cylinder.
If you ultimately want another motor, see if you can return or sell the new head. Sell anything good on...
You have one large misunderstanding of the alternator and electricity. The alternator is not pushing the electricity. It responds to what is demanded of it. It only puts out the load demanded on it.
As you put more load on the alternator it will load the engine more. When the demand on the...
The price you pay to make good mods work.
I think the problem is that a stock drag link will never work with 6 inch lift. There is not enough adjustment.
I believe it will take a new, longer drag link and the right steering arm.
being that the truck will only turn 1/3 of the stock radius...

this kit plus a two wheel drive box.
It will fix all of your problems even the ones you do not know you have yet.

I second the drag link adjustment but your steering arm may not be raised enough. I believe the stock front axle only had 3 leafs. you have 6 or 7 so the spring pack is much thicker thus your arm is not tall enough. Maybe the arm they put on was for a 3 to 4 inch lift.
With that lift you...
Also if you have not removed the shifter housing, it is kind of a must do in order to get it centered. Mine barely reaches each side. A few more inches of rubber on all sides of the liner would make it a much better product.
I have the lmc rubber liner. If you have a propane heater and a garage you can put it in overnight and just warm it, the folds will come out of the liner. It will not stretch. Do not heat it with a heat gun (industrial hair dryer) unless you want it to shrink. It will shrink a little but not...
If you are running a 1009, I do not see the need for airbags unless you are towing which I do not recommend anything heavy enough to require airbags.
The short wheel base is not good for anything that out weighs it.
4 inch lift is what you need for cross over steer. The cheapest way to do...
I do not have rear wheel spacers. I am considering it but if I do, it will take some rear fender work. My rear wheel tuck into the wheel wells under full compression and spacers would require me to trim the inner wheel well lip.
I wheeled it last weekend for the first time and I had no issue...
You can normally save a lot pulling it yourself. Most shops that pull them send them to an automotive machine shop that does the actual work on it. check your area for a machine shop to rebuild just the head. It does not take that much time to get it off but in mechanic hours it adds up fast...
I would second another rally and anything thing that involves shooting. I however would recommend the rally to be held at a place where everyone can wheel their trucks. I would like some company on the trails. I would also like to see the big trucks in action.
I believe a place where you...
you have a bad valve. you are getting blow back into the intake.
pull the covers and look or do a compression test. looks like a head rebuild is needed.

I enjoyed meeting everyone at the off road park. I had work going on in college station so I did not get to spend much time at the museum. I did get to walk through Friday afternoon and there was a lot of very nice equipment on display.
I camped at the off road park Friday and Saturday night...

maybe they have what you need. If you are going to change steering columns then might as well get tilt.
looks like the correct adapter. You could use that case for any 205 config you want since I believe it is the small main bearing. You can change the input shaft to the one you need for your tranny and increase the bearing size to the large bearing if you needed to use the 32 spline, or magnum...
I had all four wheels wobbling. The front hubs were bent and the back drums wobbled on the hub. The rear studs were slightly bent between the hub and drum, the drum wobble was only about an 1/8 inch out but when that much mass is running out of round it does not take much to feel it.
With...
Is there camping at the off road park on Friday night? I am trying to determine if I am going to go Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. I plan to be at the museum sat. morning then go to the off road park around 2 or 3.
Not sure if I have a place to camp Friday if I come then.
Thanks,
Rich
