    LMTV at DRMO, spec's? Engine?

All the wiring for the sensors! I have a long time friend in the Guard here, and he says his units LMTV's and MTV's spend 85% of their time down for one reason or another, usually something simple (bad sensor, relay, wiring issue) yet takes awhile to diagnosis and correct. He said this has been...

Preamble to yet another WC brought back to life

SWEET! I like that trailer, looks like it would be good for PM work and oil changes!

    Patracy's "SEMTT"

Uh, your parking brakes can be actuated by a normal air control valve, which I think is fitted into the cab already? The stock lever actuates a valve like it, and a cable to a mechanical parking brake on the transfer output like in the deuce and 800 series. Parking brakes on a M900 series are...

    ...towing a tank?

I would recommend a M915 and a M127 trailer, since you have to have overwidth permits anyway. In SC, you can get a Non-CDL license for the big trucks. You can also get blanket yearly overwidth/height permits if the load is under a certain size. $100 a year in SC and you can go anywhere in the...

    Navy deuce

My wife painted her M109 gray, to honor my Navy service. I really didn't like it at first, but it has grown on me. It was a quick roller job a few years ago, we are discussing maybe blasting and painting it right.

    M1070 vs m920

I looked at the pictures of a M1070, and wow! I already see me and Angie, riding to Haspin in A/C comfort, with the back seat full of dogs and the pig, and whatever other barnyard critter she wants to bring. However the low speed, I assume low MPG, and the need for permits, quickly pops the...

Findlay 2013 Armed Forces Day Event

I do! You know, there are a couple of systems in place, where if you give them a little money, and box something up, they will take it from place to place! it's pretty cool! You should try one! I'll pay you for the shipping! I just can't make Findlay, which sucks as I really wanted to go parts...

    Trucks out of Indianapolis......

That is Cummins standard engine paint color. With that color, it is more likely it was a new or rebuilt engine direct from Cummins, not a gov rebuild. DH, it could have the ultra rare Allison 30spd or the flux capacitor MWO.

    gl brokers?

I've picked up hundreds of trucks, trailers and other assorted surplus junk in SC and surrounding areas. You can get on the member map and look for members close to the auction site, many have put if they pick up trucks or not. Don't go bugging everyone with PM's though, if there isn't anyone...

9 days of simulated combat with an M151a1 (Operation East Wind)

Great, just great. Something else that has caught my fancy that takes time and money... Now I'm really comtemplating participating one year. Great job on the A2, getting it going and keeping it that way.

    2013 Haspin dates/info/attendance

The headlight? No, Trucklite wouldn't replace it because I wasn't the original purchaser. And that would be great, I hate the way the M915 looks with only one LED headlight!

It's ok Steve, you can drive the XM818 of Death, I'll have the M37 to play in. I bet I can hang that up in a tree!

    Allison M916 + Mk48 Cab = 6x6 "FEMTT"

When I was a scout, we had a Scout Master I used to ride with when we went on hiking trips to the mountains of SC. He had me bring a steak once, and before we left the church, we made foil packs (steak, onions, potatos, green peppers, and a bunch of butter and salt, all rolled up in tin foil)...

Findlay 2013 Armed Forces Day Event

I wish I could make it again this year, but EMD dragged me into something that is the same weekend. I won't let that happen next year.
