    Extra storage

I personally like the idea of skin cancer on my hands. Actually, I think my hands just hate gloves. I always wind up using bare hands by the end of the night collecting oil. None of the reusable rubber ones seem to work well for putting on and off without getting the inside filthy and defeating...

    Extra storage

Well, to his credit, that bracket and bed look filthy. Compared to a new one... pretty clean compared to my stuff!

should I remove/bypass the GP resistor with Wellman 070s?

the resistor drops the 24v to 12v for the glow plugs. If you have a glow plug fail, the resistance changes, allowing higher voltage to the remaining GPs. eventually it will cause a cascading failure of the GPs.

    Best 24 volt battery charger?

Ok, so they did make one. I suppose try to find one of these. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?46580-24v-military-battery-charger

    Best 24 volt battery charger?

They do make 24vdc charger/maintainers with boost (100amps or so). A lot of marine and construction equipment is 24vdc as well. Do they make one from a factory with a slave cable plug already on it? I don't think so, never seen one. You can purchase one, and get a used slave cable end, and...

anybody know a good shipping company...??

$.50 a mile? you couldn't make anything driving it for that. Not if you have to buy fuel, maintain your truck, have insurance and tags, etc like the rest of us. That's insanely cheap, so cheap I would avoid it like the plague. I've meet Eric with Surplus Transport and helped him load and ship...

    Wood gas

**** I'll drive my 2004 Dodge 2500 that gets 33mpg hwy on WVO and other fuels, and is bare bones stock. the big issue with woodgas, is tars and impurities in the 'gas' literally gumming up a standard IC engine.

    Matilda wont start. :-(

Try and find a battery wholesaler or warehouse, they will usually sell blemished batteries at a steep discount. I run all my stuff on Hawkers or Blems, and almost never have battery issues.

    Electric Wipers for the Deuce

I have been hoping to get an electric wiper setup from an A3, only minus the electric motor. I have several big locomotive style air wiper motors, and want to install that in the center of the windshield frame where the electric motor went. I don't know about you guys, but every deuce or 5 ton...

Very Nice! I've been looking at maybe shrinking the size of the trucks I have, and the WWII dodges are sweet trucks.

Kind of new from South Carolina

Welcome to the site! I have family in Greenwood. I live to the SE of Columbia. I posted a thread a year or so ago, about doing a SC gathering, maybe just at my house, to do a 'meet and greet' I would still like to do this but finding a month and weekend that works for most of the SC folks...

NO 7 Hoist Set from Terry MS to NC or GA Rally

It was delivered by Doc and Gimp about 2 years ago. The one I have here looks like it would be awful to get apart.

NO 7 Hoist Set from Terry MS to NC or GA Rally

It is too hard to take one apart. I've had one at my house for over a year that was supposed to go to Exbrown here in SC.
